Tori sat in front of a stream, pebbles lying under him. He wasn't much for water, so he didn't get very close to it, it just kinda sat at a distance watching him. But however, he did like the rocks. They couldn't catch on fire like trees and grass can. So he could let his tail roam freely in this place. But of course, he wouldn't get two feet from the water. But he seemed to beginning to have had a enough of the water. He stood up looking over at the stream a little more. It was time for him to start heading back, I suppose. Being alone sometimes seemed much better then going back to his family. Sad, but true. Especially with his brother around, he was quite the annoyance, and everyone knew. Well, except maybe his mother. But what was different? He then turned around and headed back home. "Yay for home..." He rolled his eyes.

Lila loved the stream. The cool, tingly sensation of the water, the sound of bubbles oozing to the surface, it just made her feel so... so serene, and at peace with the world. Her hazy and regretful past was always forgotten when she was in a peaceful state of mind.
Lila gasped slightly when she heard movement up ahead.Ahead of her was where all the pebbles seemed to gather. She knew this because of her many stream-side walks. Quickening her pace, she saw a small, green Ulaya, a kit. His tail was split like a snake's tongue, and at the end of it was a fiery red flame. She didn't see his face, but she felt she knew him from somewhere. Before she could stop herself Lila shuffled her paws, and down she fell.
She had been on the bank of the stream, standing atop a pile of pebbles. When she shuffled her feet a pebble had slipped out from under her. One pebble was all it took for her to go tumbling into the stream.

Tori was fully ready to head back home. That is, until he heard something happening behind him. He looked back. He had first heard something like rocks, but he didn't see anything around that might disturb the pebbles around. Only to also remember hearing that of water splashing. Someone, or something must've fallen into the water.
He took a few steps closer to the stream, but of course, not to close. He then spotted something in the water. It was a bit hard to tell, as the colors of the purple and blue seemed to blend quite well from the distance. He didn't really know what to do now. He sort of wanted to just walk away, but something wouldn't let him. He sat back down on the pebbles, looking at the purple spot in the water oddly.
"Who is that?" He suddenly became quite curious.

Lila sputtered and rose to the surface, very aware that the stream wasn't as deep as she had thought it to be. Soaked from ear to tail she looked at the green Ulaya sitting just above her. She looked at him for a moment, then gasped. "You look... familiar... Who are you?" she inquired, still not remembering who he might be or if she had ever set her eyes upon him before.
Lila stood up and shook her fur. Licking herself a few times, she then bounded up and sat next to the fiery green fellow.

He watched the Ulaya until it came closer to him. Only to notice it was a femme, yet, oddly. He didn't feel the need to flirt with her. Which was odd, as he flirted with like EVERYONE, when he had the chance. Maybe it was that her purple pelt reminded him of his parents. Both his parents were purple, he was green. Got from his grandfather obviously. Maybe they were related? Hmm, could be. But not from his mothers side, as his grandmother on that side had his tail... I suppose he'd have to worry about that later.
"You look familiar too... But I don't think I should give my name to a stranger." He would never say that, ever. And yet, he oddly did. He looked at her with a brow raised.
He didn't want to get to close to her, as she was all wet. He wasn't very fond of water, and if you could tell why... Wow. His tail of course. Who knows what would happen if it went out. Probably nothing, but could never be to sure. Look at charmander. And his grandmother was a Pokemon. So you never know. He just didn't like being wet. I suppose you could blame that one on this fathers side.

The young one also seemed to know her. This was good.
Suddenly, as the boy spoke, she gasped. Images flooded her mind of a red bull Ulaya. Red... flaming... fire... "Aditya..." she barely spoke his name, but it had such meaning for her. A horrid past, a puzzled future. She jumped back a step and continued to stare at the boy. She began to think that he was spawn of Aditya, but cleared her mind once more. Aditya was all red, had horns, was flaming, and had hollow eyes. The boy was green, had red eyes, a snake tongue, and a split tail with a flame on top of it. The only traits he had in common with Aditya was the flame. The boy could not have possibly obtained almost all his traits from his mother.
Lila closed her eyes for a second to think. Immediately her eyelids popped open. "Do the names Aiden, Haseo or Fang mean anything to you?" She had not been in touch with any of her children for a while now, and, even though the thought of being a grandmother scared her, it was possible. She looked at the kit, hoping that he would know an answer.

Tori looked at the female after he gave his answer. She seemed to be think about something, her face gave that impression. He however wasn't thinking about anything. Other then how odd this whole meeting thing was. And his face definitely gave that impression. As he waited for her to speak, his eyebrow stayed risen. He was intrigued and confused by this whole thing. Only to be more confused with the mention of his father and uncles ( though he has only met Haseo XD ).
"Fang, Haseo? Freeeaaky." "Fang, he isss my father.." Tori looked her up and down and continued to give her an odd look.
He didn't know who this woman could possible be, but she seemed to know his family. Well, his father side anyway. His tail moved across the smooth pebbles, waiting for a response from her. Not worrying about anything catching on fire, but of what she could possibly say next.

What? Lila's mind was whirling. She hadn't spoken to her son, Fang, in ages, and if he had had kits, she would have no way of knowing. "Fang is your... f-f-f-father?" Lila almost fainted. She was a... g-g-grandmother?
"Have you ever heard of... of Lila?" She was wondering if the boy knew anything of his... grandmother. Lila looked at the boy, curiousity in her stare, and awaited an answer.

Tori's odd look remanded as she spoke. Her reaction was quite odd, as if possibly related to him. Which was his first guess. Then again, she could've also been some lover before his mother... But Fang was to boring to have that kinda of past history. So he guessed it was either a sister or mother. Either way, he knew it was family.
"I've heard of no sssuch name."
His odd look stuck. But it was true, he hadn't heard of her. His parents seemed to be to stuck looking after him and his brother to even talk about anything else. I mean, he didn't even know his grandfather's(on his mothers side) name until he actually met him. And his mother loved his family dearly. So, I suppose it was just there lack of time and scattered minds that made them forget to talk about their family.

Lila gasped as the young boy spoke. "Fang's never spoken of me, his own mother? Does he resent me for never telling his of Aditya? But..." Lila trailed off as she realized that the boy knew nothing of his father's mother, nor his father's father. She realized how utterly confused he probably was.
"I'm sorry," she shook her head, "My name is Lila. I'm Fang's mother - your grandmother." She waited for the news to sink in. Whether this wait was for her own good or his, she'd never know, but the silence was an eerie one that she would never soon forget.

Tori wasn't surprised when she said she was his grandmother. I mean, they never really talked about family. Not only that, but she did look a lot like his father. He on the other hand looked nothing like him, except his eyes. But of course, he did get the fire on his tail from him as well. But he didn't really no what to say to her. He wasn't very great when it came to family. Odd.
"That's.. Nice?"

Lila nodded, knowing that the boy had no idea how important friendship and family was after her incident with Aditya. She fluffed up her tail and smiled. "So, what's your name? You already know mine," Lila hoped that Fang and his mate had chosen an adorable little name for the adorable little boy. But... wait... who was his mate?
"If you don't mind me asking, what's your mother like?" From the site of the green, flaming boy she could've guessed that Fang mated with a snake. But that idea, she knew, was far from the truth. A Ulaya mating with a snake was proposterous! Or was it?

Tori scanned the female once again. His tail moving back and forth on the pebbles below him. I suppose it was okay to give his name. After all, she was family, right? A grandmother. He hadn't talked much to his other grandmother, I suppose that couldn't be helped..
"I'm Tori.."
Tori never seemed to be himself around family. I suppose family could change anyones personality. It made him quite dull, like his father was most the time. I suppose that's why his father got with his mother. She was quite the opposite of dull. Well, it seemed like it anyway. His attention went back to Lila. I suppose she would want to know about his mother.
"Well, sshe iss quite energetic... And much like a kit.."

Lila smiled with pleasure. "That's an adorable name!" Lila then blushed, realizing that she probably had made Tori feel... less like a man. "I-I mean, that's a great name. " She smiled, hoping that she had covered up her mistake well enough.
"Oh," Lila said, a faraway look in her eyes, "She sounds lovely!" Lila tried to conjure up a picture of Tori's mother, most likely Fang's mate, but failed. All she could come up with was a bright green, slimy snake with some sort of odd, split tail. She shivered. Fang couldn't possibly have picked out an ugly mate, could he? When trying to conjure up a picture again she imagined a female Ulaya, of course, with a split tail much like Tori's, a bright red forked tongue, bright green fur, and a predatorial glint in her bright red eyes. Again, Lila shivered. Some kind of Ulaya predator was a very unlikely mate for any Ulaya, even... Aditya. Lila gasped out loud, scared for any female Ulaya who had had a run-in with Aditya, or who would in the future.
Lila turned back to Tori, smiling, and wondering what he'd look like when he was full grown. Such a stud!

Tori didn't have much to say to his grandmother. He didn't have much to say to any of his family. Well, accept his parents, and I suppose, his brother. He also seemed to get along alright with his half uncle, Kali'chetan. Which was a bit odd, since they were quite different from each other. Oh wells.
Tori had noticed Lila giving quite a few shivers. And considering the were after he mentioned his mother, he was guessing she was picturing how she might look like. Surprisingly, the only thing he got from her, herself, was his tail. I suppose he had gotten the rest from his father and grandfather he actually knew. If she wanted to know how his mother looked like, she should've met his brother. He looked the most like her. Sad he didn't act anything like her. He gave her back a smile when she smiled at him and thought he'd safe her any further terror.
"And don't worry. Ssshe lookss nothing like me."
