Things had changed, they'd changed greatly. Suddenly, Mut didn't feel like this was home. The lion she called brother bothered her, the way he played Firekin. And the fact the pride was beginning to get crowded... It was unsettling. Her sons were almost adolescents, old enough to fend for themselves. With almost deep regret, she started out of the lands. Once she left, there was no looking back.

Right on time... Racing through the grass, the green hare literally popped up in front of the lioness. "Hey, listen!" When she landed, she realised how annoying that was... Red gaze meeting confused blue, the hare stood up on her hind paws. "You can't go west! You have to go south and then east!"

Staring at the hare, Mut took on a more confused look, if that were possible. "Why south and then east? What's in those directions?" She reached down, scooping the hare up with a paw to sniff it. It had a strange scent, as well as... She stopped, ears lifting. "You smell a bit like Kabichi!" A grin lit up her face as she placed it down again.

"Yes, I'm her sister's spirit guide. As for the why, you will find your destiny there. As for the what..." The hare only smiled, before darting off. No easy answers were to be found, not today. Paws flying, she seemed to absolutely swim through the grass like a fish in water.

Ears perked, the pale lioness gave persuit. Chocolate-dipped paws flying, she did her best to keep up. She soon lost the hare, though, as she unknowingly crossed into the rogue lands for the first time in her life. She knew none of the landmarks, and soon got lost herself. When her paws started to sink slightly into the ground, she knew... She wasn't home anymore. Fearfully, she looked around.

Jumping up on a log, Darshana thumped a paw on it. "Hey, over here!" When the lioness looked, the hare jumped and went weaving between her paws. Pausing, she looked up. "Too far!" She then took off north-eastward, tiny paws flying. She didn't go nearly as fast, though. She wanted the lioness to follow HER, not her follow the lioness.

Determined to catch the elusive little green hare, Mut took off after her again. The land solidified again, as they headed northward. Soon the odd landmark she remembered popped up, until finally... She realised the hare was gone. Stopping, sides heaving, Mut looked around for her.

Jumping on a rock, Darshana decided it was time to stop the games. Well, the running ones. "Looking for me?" She tilted her head, smiling at the lioness. "You're good at chasing! You think too little of your hunting skills, you know."

Frowning, Mut went over to the hare, nudging it with her nose. "How do you know I doubt my skills? And just why am I even following you?" She sat down, regarding the animal. It knew something, and Mut wanted to know what it was.

Looking over, Darshana fluffed her fur, then gave Mut's nose a pat. "I just know things. As for why... You need to meet somebody. Three adult somebodies, actually. Two will be very important to you, because the first you've been fated to meet for a long time. The other... You are displeased with these lands, yes? Well, the other will help. First find the blind knight, and the rest will fall in place."

"But how will I know when I meet them? I don't even know what they LOOK like!" She put a paw on the rock, giving the hare a hard look. Was this right, was she actually considering this...? Was she considering leaving the Pridelands? She'd always sworn she never would, because somebody needed to be there for her father... But things had changed, hadn't they? Were any of her numerous litter mates still there?

The hare sighed, patting the paw. "You'll just know. It might take a moment to fall in place in your mind, but you'll know. Just know that your pelts will match, and where the dark stranger goes, you will all blend in." Shifting, the hare gave her paw another pat. "The rest is up to you, Mut'salama." With that, she launched off the rock, flying into the grass.

Letting out an almost forlorn sigh, Mut got up and started to walk. Stopping suddenly, the pale brown lioness looked back. "Wait, how did that hare know my name...?" Frowning, she returned to the rock to sniff it. But she found no scent, which was odd. Huffing, she turned and went trotting slightly south west. Something just told her to go this way.
