my guild started kara on saturday. only had 4 guildies, but........ yeah. was still a success, got to curator and called it a night before downing him.
no one from the pug wanted to come last night, so we came back with a vengeance. Both tanks, 1 healer, 3 dps, all in our guild. We were happy.
....... noob ten year old warlock in our guild won the voidheart gloves over the warlock class lead (we don't pick favorites with loot) and said "It's my bedtime kthxbye" and logged.
half an hour later he was back on, trying to figure out how to buy the gloves....... he didn't know..... and he was still online when i logged at 2 am......

He left after he got the gloves?
What a p***k, i don't care how old he is.
Especially since he came back afterwards.

The class lead is now VERY mad, I haven't kicked the kid because I want the class lead to have the honors... but our other guildies are holding him back saying "OMG that was the FUNNIEST thing that's happened in a MONTH"

My boyfriend's little brother is 12 and is a mainhealer for one of the bigger raiding guilds on the server, he plays a resto druid. He'd ninja afk in the middle of a fight to go for dinner, s**t like that, he was a guildhopper too. There was one time where he afk'd, got booted, and they couldn't replace him because he was still in the instance. Shortest raid ever razz
Its honestly because of the age, I think. Kid was a good healer but damn did he piss a lot of people off xD

Does your guild have dkp? If not, I highly suggest starting. As for the 10 year old who took off with the gloves, as punishment I'd suspend his right to any further gear for a period of time. If he doesn't like it, he can leave and be a ninja elsewhere. But then again...maybe I'm just used to a more serious guild atmosphere...
