Okay,so,I was helping my little brother play, and,I went to a save point afetr a hard bit to save. Then,I was used to saving on the 2nd slot down(my saving). Then, yeah, you can see what happened.I SAVED OVER MY OWN SLOT crying My just-before-last-boss saving. The one with all Espers. The one with Excalibur, and Genji equipment.THe one with 44 marks down.I almost had Tournesol, and spent about five hours the other day obtaining Hell Gate's Flames, and there was about 15 days of gameplay put into it. Now I've got to start all over again!
I'm such a doofus DX

Oh no!! *hugs*
Yes, that's happened to me before, multiple times. My brother always has at least two copies of a file for that reason (I don't).
Good luck starting over... Are you going to try to get everything again? I probably wouldn't...

When it happens to me it's usually on purpose because I need to take a break from playing the same game and if it's been a month or more I delete and start over. Always remember the journey is half the fun.

I always have a spare save (or ten) luckly for me. But I do every now and then re-start a game of my own choice cause i've left it too long and just feel like re-starting it. Its not as bad as it sounds. everythings always faster the second time thorugh anyways

Always remember the journey is half the fun. True that! I've accidentally saved over my UBER FFT FILES at least 80 times...I mean to save over the old file, and end up saving over the awesome ones cuz its what I'm used to...then I smack myself. Oh well, hope you get it back, man. I'll give ya a toast, maybe it'll give ya good luck! =P X_X CHEERS! *Swigs some moonshine*

wink haha "moonshine" And i was thinking cool...he's drinking the moon's shine. then i noticed your jug.
I've actually failed to save for fear of losing my previous game. I'd open another file just cause. on my soulcaliber game i freak out saving for fear of it overwriting my other game files. OH GOD MY NERVES...pass the moonshine!

Luckily I've never done that, though on handhelds I've had the battery run out while I'm saving.

aww. it's not that bad. i've done almost the same thing with my star ocean: till the end of time team. except i'd beaten the game and was working on extra mini quests.
i mean all you can do is go throw it again. and on the up side you can catch things you missed. final fantasy 12 is soo huge! i've never completed all the missions and i've had it for forever!
