"10 reasons to date a fat girl"
1. If you take the fat away from the fat girl, she'll be ******** smoking; you take the skinny from the skinny chick...she'll still look like an ugly a** horse.
2. You might not be able to pick her up, but she can PICK you up.
3. No more blankets.
4. Larger mouth capacity.
5. She'll let you eat beef--she'll probably eat most of it.
6. This is cliche, but "more cushion for the pushin".
7. She's probably an emotional wreck, so if you show her the least bit attention, she'll be at your beck and call. (WHAT THE ********. Bear hugs.
9. Let me repeat, larger mouth capacity.
10. Economy size. More is Better. Bigger is better.

holy. ********. s**t. is this supposed to seem kind? is this supposed to seem good? i sincerely hope the person who wrote this is an insane drug addict or trying to be funny. because this is one of the most wicked things i've ever heard.
i'mma tell you the honest truth. fat people are people too. they're not any better or worse than you. why is being heavy such a horrible thing? wanna know something? fat doesn't equal ugly. there are ******** gorgeous fat girls out there. beauty isn't a number on a scale, beauty isn't how many boys would kill to be your escort, beauty isn't wearing subzero sizes.

myth

1) speak gently to poor fat girl. she can't help her terrible disability.
2) poor fat girl needs to be educated about her problem.
3) poor fat girl laughs to hide her tears.
4) poor lonely fat girl has no real friends.
5) all poor fat girl wants to do is lose weight.

truth

1) fat girl is a lot stronger than you, and you can't tear her a new one because she's heard it all before.
2) fat girl knows a ton more than you do about losing weight and dieting than you do, because she's been there countless times.
3) fat girl is a person! she is happy and sad, like you.
4) fat girl has true friends that render you about as important as jobro s**t.
5) fat girl just might have other redeeming qualities! surprised shocking i know. she might have goals that don't involve taking off 50 pounds for someone else's sake!!!

i don't come home and bawl my eyes out and shove gallons of ice cream down my throat. i don't remain sedentary for hours and hours because i hate moving.
"I’m not chubby. I’m not chunky. I’m not hormonally challenged or endocrine-disordered. I do not prefer platitudes like ‘large’ or ‘plus sized’ or clinical words like obese. I’m fat, fat, fat. If the word makes you uncomfortable, that’s your problem."
i weigh more than i should, more than you do. but i am still a person. one of the ******** best people you'll ever meet. i'm not perfect though; i don't claim to be. but before you say i'm weird, ugly fat, stupid... before you start pointing fingers at me, you best make sure your own hands are clean.

(what emmy says has been bolded)

what do you guys think?
PostPosted: Sun Jun 08, 2008 10:14 pm

Psht, sweetie, don't let them get you down.
talk2hand

I'm fat, but I'm tall so it's not AS noticeable.
At least, I don't think so.

And I still think I'm pretty.
I don't care what others say.

Yes, I'm fat.
But I never get teased about it anymore.

Because people know that I can kick their a** because size wise, me>most people.

I'm proud of who I am, and being skinny is not an essential part of that.

heart I definitely agree with some parts of what you have said, Sing. 3nodding Others, well, not so much.

I do not think that whoever wrote the "10 reasons to date a fat girl" meant anything by it. I don't believe they meant to hurt anyone. Maybe that person was fat herself...you never know. I personally do not find it funny, but others might. Some people have weird senses of humour. I wouldn't take it so seriously.

I feel sort of offended by how you said, "beauty isn't wearing subzero sizes." Do you feel that I'm not beautiful because sometimes size zero jeans are too big for me? neutral What about double-zero? Am I too thin to be considered beautiful, Sing? Where exactly is the line between beautiful (fat, as you like to call it) and not-beautiful (subzero sizes)?

About your bolded "truths"...
1) I don't believe that fat people are stronger than me just because they are fat. xd
2) I do not agree with that. If they knew more about it, they wouldn't have become big in the first place, and they'd be able to get their weight down. I feel as though I work pretty hard to keep my body the way it is. Hell, my goal this summer is to weigh 95 pounds.
3) I agree with you.
4) Agree.
5) Not all thin people are thin for "someone elses sake." I personally want to stay thin for my own health and satisfaction. Feeling good about my body makes me a million times more confident. Trust me, I have been unsatisfied with my body in the past. I'm much happier now.

I agree with all of the different ways you said "fat." I hate it when people use weirds like "obese." gonk heart

It's not as easy as it looks, Ribby.

Since I moved to Arizona, I've been eating less, walking, swimming, along with other stuff.

I still am overweight.

Some people just can't lose it all.

Oh, nonono.
I didn't mean it in that way at all. I do realize how hard it is to loose weight. The only thing I meant by it was that I don't think that fat people know more about dieting just because they are fat. Thin people have to work hard at keeping their weight down, unless they were blessed with a high metabolism or something (even though that wears down with age).

Prime. I think you are gorgeous, from pictures I've seen of your face and just what a sweetie you are.
I am talking about this skinny.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

How is that healthy or beautiful...?

And I'm probably biased, mostly because I hear what people say about me and I'm like, "If you can't go through the trouble to say things to my face, don't say them."

I'm one of those "beauty is mostly on the inside" kind of people.

But I am really not like, the fat girl stereotype anymore... I do not think I'm ugly or horrible. And I don't have such a low self esteem complex I'd be at a guy's beck and call because he was sweet.

The subzero sizes thingy... When people are like... I'm so skinny that size two is too big... but they are bragging about it, like they are better than you because they are smaller... that's what I hate.

Beautiful isn't fat or skinny. Beautiful is who you are. Agree?

Only one thing...
If they knew more about it, they wouldn't have become big in the first place...
Ha, sometimes it is genetics, babe. I know that. It's not always the person's fault. Because, well, my mom & stepdad have stuck me on a zillion different diets since I was 8 years old, and that made me feel so bad about myself that not even my family was okay with me. And so I failed at them all because I don't want to be someone else. I'm Emmy.

heart heart heart for Prime and Girly!

i'm big too.
but yes i agree with Emmy. it's only the people who brag that are anoying. my older sister is skinnyer then me but she doesn't bug me about it.
and Emmy it's okay my mom bugs me about that too.
i'm a really picker eater so she doesn't put me on diets but she always telling me to go outside and do stuff.but there is nothing to do and i like going on the computer and stuff. and in the summer i swim and she still bugs me.

Thanks! 4laugh heart

But...I just don't feel as though it's right to not call that woman beautiful, but to call someone like this...

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

...beautiful.

I just don't see how either of them can be fit under "beauty." But then again, if we are talking about beauty being on the inside, then they are probably both beautiful people. 3nodding heart

~

Okay, that's really dumb that someone would brag just because they are smaller. xd I can agree with you on that. Real women have curves, anyways.

"Beautiful isn't fat or skinny. Beautiful is who you are."
I think that beauty can be both. Beauty can be physical, but it can also be inner beauty. It just depends on what you're talking about. I definitely don't think that it's about weight; not at all.

~

I don't know about the whole genetics thing...I just don't think that genetics is an excuse. Yeah, it can make the issue harder (my whole mom's side is overweight, and it's really hard for me to loose weight gonk ). I don't think that it's just genetics. It's also habits. I think that they were just trying to help your health, Sing. They never meant to hurt you. <3 You're beautifulllll.

heart heart heart For Sing! xD

"I definitely don't think that it's about weight; not at all."
That is what I basically mean. People who are like, you weigh ____ pounds, you're not beautiful. You're heavy, you're not beautiful.
I don't think that the twig girl OR the exceedingly large girl are very... outer beautiful.
Haha, I know, but it's different when your doctors say you're fine, but your family thinks you're not good enough. That's not about health, that's getting into who I am and my family is not understanding. rolleyes

heart heart heart for Gummy && Prime!!!
