The concert last night was
amaz-z-zing <3<3
We got there a little bit late,
so Phantom Planet was already
playing when we got in there.
We were in row v D: so we had to
go up like 3 flights of stairs, and you
could feel the music pounding through
your body because it was so incredibly loud.
It was pretty cool :]
And then the Hush Sound came out, and they
were okay, the girl kinda bugs me, but they
still sounded good.
As soon as they were done my friend and I went
down to get t-shirts and stuff. I wanted the brown
striped panic sweatshirt sooo badly D: But they
only had sizes xs and xL left ;-;
So I got an orange-ish yellow t-shirt with a tiger
on it instead. . . I like it a lot though, so I suppose
it all works out.
By the time we got back upstairs Motion City Soundtrack
was about halfway done. They were really good I though.
They seemed to play off the crowd a lot, which was fun.
When they left everyone was screaming like crazy, because
they knew that Panic was up next. It seemed like foreverrrrr
before they came on D:
There was a projector thing on the screen while we were
waiting though, and you could send your text messages to a
certain number and they would display them on the screen.
It was really funny, because people kept saying stuff
about Edward Cullen, and the crowd was going crazzzzy xD
My friend sent like 3 or 4, but they never showed them D;
Anywayyssss. . .
When Panic finally came out, the audience was probably
screaming for about 3 minutes straight. They started off with
"We`re so Starving," which carried into "Nine in the Afternoon".
Then they talked for a little while, saying how it was good to
be back in Seattle, and how everyone here was so beautiful.
Haha, they said that like 50 times probably.
I really don`t remember the order of any of the songs they played D:
At first they played a few songs off they`re old album, and
then they intro`d their new album, and played some songs off of there.
I remember during "That Green Gentleman," during the "I never said I`d
leave this city, I never said I`d leave this town" he said "I never said
I`d leave Seattle," and the crowd started screaming again <3<3

And Brendon came out to play Time to Dance, and he had a beer again D:
I think Panic must have some sort of advertising agreement with
Corona, because he said, "I`m drinking this Corona for you guys."
And I`m lyke; ugh, Brendon no D:
But I got over it pretty fast, because he asked the crowd to sing
along with the do do do do part at the beginning.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=stel2bGPQdc
And he`s like; "If you guys have no idea what I`m talking
about, just scream really really loud. It`ll sound great,
I promise you." And then everyone laughed xD
When Ryan was singing "Behind the Sea," during the waves of
wooden legs part, he told everyone to wave they`re
arms back and forth. It looked really cool, like actual waves
of wooden legs. . . xD
I know they played; The Only Difference, Camisado, Time to Dance,
Lying is the Most Fun, But It`s Better if You Do, I write Sins,
I Constantly Thank God, and There`s a Good Reason, from
A Fever You Can`t Sweat Out.
And from Pretty. Odd they played; We`re so Starving, Nine in the
Afternoon, She`s a Handsome Woman, That Green Gentleman,
Northern Downpour (I`m so glad they played it <3<3), Pas De Cheval,
Behind the Sea, Folkin` Around (which really didn`t sound country at all),
and Mad as Rabbits, which transitioned into the "nananana nananana,
hey hey hey, goodbye," and all of the other bands ran out on stage
to sing it too.
It was probably the best night of my life, no lie <3
I love those boys so much :]

Everyone says that they have lost their theatrical touch...but I think they still have every bit of it. I mean...everything from telling the crowd how beautiful they are, to the "I never said I'd leave Seattle," to the Corona...they did all those same things at Detroit. It's like it's all planned out, even though they don't act like it (okay, you can kinda tell that Ryan sounds like he has rehearsed when he talks, but for the rest of the band you cant tell xD). There's a certain part of me that really loves that. 3nodding heart The...theatrical-ness that they kept.

I'm glad you had fun!

A lot of bands always say the same thing at concerts, I think it's more about having a game plan than being theatrical xp But Panic has their flowers and rugs... plus their music is theatrical on its own...

It sounds like you had an awesome time! 4laugh

I think it's theatrical. They plan out what they want to say...almost like it's a skit or something. Ryan even changes his voice. xd You think a lot of bands do that? ...I don't know many bands that do that.
