I'm trying to teach myself to draw. So I'll try. Not saying you'll actually get something from me, but I'll try. Though paper sketches come off horrid when scanned, and I have no skill in using a computer pallet whatsoever.

lol...your funny, i was randomly going in towns asking about artists and i ran by someone who's brother is gonna help me out...he's good too, i seen his work on deviant art mrgreen i'm happy!!

I actually did it. I spent all third and fourth block in school today sketching it. Like I said, scanners are merciless, but I actually accomplished a finished sketch. It looks sort of looks like the picture, I think. And by the way, your jawline is difficult as hell to draw.

Thank you. I'm still trying to learn how to draw ... as of like, a week ago. That was my first attempt at real people. So I'm glad, minus the still twitching OCD bits and the fact that it looks so much better on paper.

Yeah... I'm hesitant to scan pictures I draw, now that I figured how how bad a scanner makes them look.

Yeah, shading and fine lines mean nothing to a scanner. crying
... Since I've decided I need to learn to draw, I want a tablet. I've seen amazing artwork come from them. It may seem weird to me, though, using one.

Tabs are awesome.
If you're going to invest in one, make sure it's of good quality.
I got one a long time ago from someone and it was absolute crap - the lines skipped and it was ew and super hard to work with...
