Based: The story is based on a Chinese Novel written by Shui Hu Zhuan. The title of the game was translated into japanese thus naming it "Suikoden".
GamePlay: Your typical RPG game. Slightly compared to others like Final Fantasy it had a total of 6 fighters in a battle you can choose. Three in the front row and three in the back. Some characters are to be placed in a certain place b/c of the type of weapon that they use (short range must be in front and long can be in front or back).
Battles are random as your wonder around. Characters can faint in battle and later revive. There are special events like cooking events, war mode, duels ect...
Characters: 108 playable and non-playable characters with around 60 or so fighting characters. They all are unique and have various skills helping Tir in many ways. They go indebt in many of the characters storylines.
Audio: Music was great and matched/fitted with the game perfectly.

I was hooked! It's one of those games that the story is so good that once you start you had to play it all through to the end. The details in the character was great and there were a lot of humor in it that made it even beter. With a wonderful story, audio, list of chacters and world its deinfantly an amazing game!
