Ok, I've been drouling over for this sword for awhile now, and I'm finally nearing the level where I can start the quest for it. But BC has me questioning if it would actually be worth the trouble of raids to get it. What do you guys think?

Without the help of a few other people that are 70, you cannot get this sword. PS; It's also not worth it.

Wait until you're 70 and get some friends together then start the quest for it, just for the status to say "*smug* I have that." and walk around SW in a just tuxedo and the weapon.
Because, as Kim said, it's not really worth it anymore.

unless your some crazy dude with some crazy friends who just have WAY to much time to stand around/quest for some blade that is so out dated they've not even reused the model... well you get the picture. useless cept maybe if your trying to use it for tanking? I've seen some tanks use to for the AoE in certain situations, they put mongoose on it.

One of our main tanks still uses Thunderfury even now and he's in at least four pieces of Tier 6.
But he only uses it on trash and easycake bosses like Hyjal. For the later bosses in Black Temple he uses a weapon he got in Zul'Aman.
So, unless you want it just to say you have it then fine, BUT there is better out there for you now with BC.

Cool, thanks guys. I think Ima wait until level 70 and do what Fenris said, and walk around in a Tux, also it would not be SW that I would walking around in, but Org, I hate those Allies...
