Sa'ida concentrated hard on her surroundings. Her eyes were shut as she stood in the middle of a small clearing in the forrest near by her son, Omni. Focusing hard, trying to get a mental physical visual capture of the area, then search into the spiritual dimension to detect if any other beings haunt this area. She would be fine, so as long nothing breaks the silence...
"Almost done mom?"
...and silence is broken. "Well, now I am," she said, restraining her dissatisfaction from leaking too much. "I didn't pick up any spiritual beings, but I detect that something is among us."
"I do too, mom," said her son. Omni wasn't really all that sure, but if his mother said it, it must be true. She was always right. And if she wasn't right, she made sure things changed so that she would still be right in the end. Omni's psychic abilities weren't as strong as his mother's, but he felt that he still had them. Despite what all the non-believers say. If it were up to him, he would shun the non-believers. Shun(eh).
