Since his return to the savannah, Kefka had come up with the greatest idea, the greatest ambition any wild dog must have ever known. He would overturn nature, as it should be, and the strong would survive. However... The male knew he needed a pack for such an ambition, followers. He had a pup so far. While to most it might not seem like much, but Chaka was spunky and cunning. Just the kind of dog the population of his pack would need.

He left her back at his temporary den for the day. Today was the day to gather... adult members. The dark dog picked his way across the savannah, eyes and ears listening for any sign of another of his species. (Or a meal, should he run into a young lion...)

Twawa would be a perfect addition to any pack he had in mind though she wasn't the easiest female to get on with. She had ruled her own pack but abandoned it due to the dogs being well, pathetic. She had then left her pups, though they were more then old enough to look after themselves now. She was cold and heartless. She didn't care much about others, she just wanted power and agression. She wanted an army of dogs that would be clever, cunning and not like the ones she had met. So pathetic and boring.

She had decided to go hunting today. She had given up on finding any dogs worth her time. She had met a few who she could manipulate in some way but none that would be any real use to her. The dogs around here were pathetic and she despised them. No she wanted something she could kill now, get her teeth into and feel the life leave it. She wasn't what anyone would call a nice female.

Kefka had gained a little bit of what could be considered a scowl as he wandered, senses catching no sign of another dog... Until... While Kefka's expression didn't change, there was an absolute change in his body language, from the way he moved to his tail. He had spotted another dog. The only way to find out about them was to engage with them. He hoped that they were strong minded, for his own sake. (Though, if it was a weak one he was about to run into... may the gods have mercy on its soul.)

"Hey you-" Kefka called as he padded purposefully towards the female, tail raised. His simple posture demanded respect, but the female's reaction would tell him all he needed to know.

Twawa turned around as something called out to her. She turned to see a male trying to demand respect by his posture and she just laughed. She sat herself down, looking bored already and having no interest in the male. He was probably just another male trying to impress a female and no males impressed this girl. All so pathetic.

"Ever heard of being polite to a lady? Honestly." She was being sarcastic and let out a rather long and forced yawn afterwards to show how bored she was already and he hadn't even said anything. How silly this all was. She got up again and turned to leave, she wasn't in the mood to be bored again, she wanted to kill something.

Well, at least she wasn't pathetic, although the reaction had not been what Kefka had expected. However, she had traits of what he needed in his pack. And as such... He couldn't let her get away without agreeing.

He gave a dash forward to cut her off, a snarl now prominent on his face, teeth bared as he spoke. "Look female- I don't know what you take me for, but it's quite clear that you don't take me for enough." One more indignation like that and he wouldn't hold back his temper as he had after this one. He'd give her one thing, he'd underestimated her, as was easy to do with all the dogs on this pitiful rock since the majority of them were made of mush. "Name's Kefka, yours?" If she had any intuition, she'd realize that his giving his name was a sign that he gave her some amount of respect, but not enough to consider himself conceding.

She laughed.

"You seem to think I would care to take you for something more." She smirked, ignoring his growl, she was a good fighter. She had grown up beating her brothers up though of course her brothers weren't exactly the best opponments. All idiots. Then again there was that other female though she was stupid. Not a surprise there.

"Kefka. I care little for who you are. What do you want? If you don't want anything, move." She lowered her body into a fighting position in case he tried to attack her. She was up for a fight if he was. She could kill a dog instead, it was a life after all.

"Fine then, to the point." He said with a little smirk. "I'm gathering dogs, not wimpy, puny weaklings, either. They, at best, would be turned into slaves, if allowed to live." He paused to ponder that... No, he might not even allow them that. "I'm going to take some land on the lake, kill anything that's not a wild dog that come into the area." From his build, it was quite obvious that it was possible. And from his scarring, quite obvious that he'd done it in the past. He pulled himself out of a fighting stance into a more diplomatic one. "You are clearly not as weak as I had anticipated, I'm glad there's at least one other dog that seems to understand the value of strength. That's what I want." He stated simply. Though he wasn't exactly in the physical position for a fight now, he could turn back in an instant; he'd noticed the change in her posture.

Interesting.

He had her attention now that was for sure.

"We have similar goals it seems." Not that she was going to explain hers as easily as he did to a complete stranger. What if he was trying to figure out her plans. No she wasn't going to risk anything until she had her army, however he could be useful.

"Tell me more." She then raised herself from her defensive posture and sat herself down again. She was listenening.

Kefka couldn't help but let a smirk cross his muzzle. Though he didn't sit -he felt like he needed to stretch his legs a bit more - his posture relaxed a bit. "I'm gathering members, any weak dogs I've run into have been killed, the world is better off without them breeding like they do. Most unfortunately, there aren't that many strong dogs on this rock, it means that my pack will only be the elite of our kind... However, I can't do it alone, obviously. On top of that, I'll need some dogs to occupy other positions of power..." Should he inform her of his idea for a council? No, not yet. "I have an important one open. If we have similar goals, why not combine them? Two are stronger than one" He said almost hungrily. He finally sat down, deciding his legs were stretched enough.

She contemplated a little and decided to tell him her idea briefly.

"I wished to create an army, one strong enough to take down those who believe they are strong when they are far from it. It does my head in, as you can imagine." She was sure that was brief enough for now. It was enough to make it clear what her goals were anyway.

"Perfect," he said simply, allowing himself to spill a bit more his personal goals in return. "I've got a little vendetta against lions, personally. They have the same problem- they think they're strong but they really aren't. But, in all honesty, it doesn't really matter what the species is, claiming to be strong when they are weak is a trait I should certainly like to see removed from these plains." He thought for a moment, eyes gazing into the distance. He returned his crimson gaze to the female in front of him. "What you wished is my ambition as well, stranger." He still hadn't gotten the female's name.

He felt the offer needed to be made. "I wouldn't mind having someone as strong as you as an equal, in the pack I'm making." She shared the same ambitions, had no fear, and the same general mindset as the male, he saw her as a valuable asset, should she accept.

She listened and allowed a smile to grace her maw. She still had no reason to give her name and so she kept it to herself.

"It sounds like a plan, a very good one at that." She liked his way of thinking. It had without doubt taken a very long time to get to this point, meeting someone with the same ambitions as herself. Maybe there were more out there, maybe they could lead together? He then seemed to read her thoughts. Sounds good.

"Fair enough. I shall accept your offer and help you create your pack. Two are better then one." She smirked. At long last.

Kefka's muzzle displayed an equally victorious smirk. "Very well then. We should travel relatively close. I'm still searching for more members, beginning to build an army. I figure the smartest way to go about it is staying close enough to each other to be a day's walk away, but split up enough to cover more ground. I plan on planting packlands on the west side of the lake," he informed the female. "Keep in touch, stranger." He said, pausing to see if she had any extra questions or suggestions. She was his equal now, in his mind. A partner in crime. He waited, and if she had nothing more to say, he would be back to Chaka and on his way to recruit more worthy members.

Twawa nodded.

"Sounds like a good plan." She smirked a little and made sure to remember where it is that he said. After all it would be an important thing to remember.

"Oh its Twawa by the way." She thought he was trustworthy enough by now to know her name. They had the same goals and she was getting a little sick of being called stranger. Even if they were strangers they were also partners in crime and that suited her just fine.

Kefka gave a little chuckle. "Very well, Twawa. I'll be seeing you around, enjoy the rest of your day. He rose to his paws and turned to head back to where Chaka had been. Everything was falling into place quite nicely. His ambitions were big, but by no means were they out of reach.
