It was a glorious day and Yazmina was in quite the mood, all but dancing on the currents in the sky. She let them toss her about a bit, tipping her wings to catch updrafts and spiraling down again when then died off. But she couldn't stay skybound forever. When she felt the first edge of weariness, she picked out a clearing and flew toward it. She landed easily, preened a feather back into place and folded her wings. A little grazing would be good. She didn't notice the foal until she'd started to dip her head. She lifted it again, slightly startled, and blinked a few times. "Oh. Hello!"

 Princess Pocket Lint had been curled up in a ball, hidden in the tall grasses. She didn't realize another Soq had made it's way to her until she heard a voice. Her eyes opened slightly, still drowsy with sleep. She blinked a few times, urging her head to look up and saw a Soq with a horn. It took her a moment to realize she wasn't dreaming and that she was actually awake. Her little body shook with fear as she got up in a hurry, almost tripping over her own hooves in attempt to get up on her shaky legs. The small foal's ears flicked back as her head lowered, trying to look as small as she could. Her mouth had been sewn shut, except for a gap in the front of her mouth. She wasn't very capable of speaking.

Well. That was different, to say the least. She'd never seen anyone with a sewn up mouth before. She took a hesitant step forward, then stopped again. "It's all right," she promised. "I won't hurt you. And I didn't mean to scare you. I didn't see you before I came down."
She paused again and lowered her head a bit. Not to threaten with the horn, just to have a better look. "Are you all right?"

Pocket Lint flinched, watching the Soq closely. She stepped back away from the horn, trying her best to avoid any injury. Hearing the soothing words from the mare didn't help the foal. Her body was still shaking in fear as she tried to assess the other foal. Her head nodded slowly at the question, not quite sure what to do exactly. She never seen anything like her before. She was quite pretty, even though she was kind of scary in her eyes. The mare dwarfed her in size and had a pretty, yet scary horn on her head.

It was clear she was frightened. Yazmina was something at a loss as to what to do about it, though.
She lifted her head again, took a look around the clearing, and seeing no threats, decided to take a chance. Very slowly, she folded her legs until she was resting on the ground. That made her much closer to the foal's size and wouldn't have her putting her head down. She supposed her horn could be intimidating.
"There, that's better, isn't it?"

Pocket Lint watched the older Soq slowly lower herself on the ground. Her pale blue eyes were slightly curious of the unicorn, but held some reservations about her. She wasn't able to fully trust the mare yet.
Hearing the question, her ears perked up at the question before slowly flicking back again. Her head tilted up a bit, still fearful, and sniffed at her. After that, she lowered her head again, not sure what to do now. She was tempted to flee, but there wasn't any immediate danger to flee from. The young foal moved to lower her body to sit down and look up to the mare with curious eyes.

Well, at least she hadn't run off.
"My name is Yazmina," she said quietly. "I really am sorry about frightening you. I should have looked better before I landed. What's your name?" she wondered, then took another glance at the stitching and asked, "Can you speak at all?"

Pocket Lint was still a bit frightened by the unicorn, shaking nervously as her pale blue eyes looked into the eyes of the mare. Listening to her, she just nodded her head slowly, understanding what she was saying. Hearing the last question, she shook her head. She demonstrated by trying to open her maw, but the stitching tightened to show that it wouldn't budge. Only the opening of her mouth was open to allow the foal to eat.

"Oh, goodness," Yazmina said. "I can't imagine why anyone would do such a thing." It troubled her a great deal and she shifted uncomfortably. "Are your parents close by?"

Pocket Lint looked to her, blinking. She didn't know why her mouth had been sewn shut either. The foal's gaze wandered down to the ground, not making eye contact any more. Her ears twitched, hearing the question if her parents were near by. She looked up and around, before shaking her head.

That couldn't be good. Surely no one would intentionally leave the little filly on her own, especially if she couldn't cry for help. Yazmina looked around too. "I'm sure they'll be back soon," she offered. "That is, if you didn't wander off. You didn't, did you?"

Pocket Lint looked back to the mare, shyly. The foal didn't know where her parents were at, nor did she know where her siblings were. She blinked, tilting her head in a manner telling the mare she didn't understand. Uncertain if the mare was asking her if she had wandered away, she nodded her head. She was kind of embarrassed since she did get lost, away from where her siblings and parents were.

Pocket Lint frowned a bit. She wouldn't want her parents being worried for her. The foal nodded her head in agreement, appearing like she could finally trust the larger mare. The foal got up onto her own hooves and looked up curiously to the mare, wondering where to go. She looked around the area, not too sure how she got into the grassy flatland.

It took Yazmina longer to get on her feet, but she managed. She shook herself lightly, wings fanning out a bit to help her keep her balance. She tucked them against her back again, flicked her tail and looked from one side of the clearing to the other. "Now then, which direction to try. I don't suppose you remember which way you came?"
