So, any of you have pets?
I know I've been talking about my pets a lot lately, so I figure I should show you guys a picture.
(Picture courtesy of my sister. I nabbed it off her Myspace. ;D)
From left to right:
The little black dog-Samson (We call him Sam. Or Sammy.)
Big black and white dog-Ace
Big reddish-brown dog-Red
Aren't they cuute?

I don't mind cats.
Sam is a German Shepard/Black lab mix.
More Lab than Shepard, but that's what he is.
Ace and Red..
Well, Grandma says they're a Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute mix.
I'm not too sure, but I know they're some type of husky.

Sure! One of the people who are taking one of them came by today. And the first time she came, a when they were about two weeks old, we told her they were allowed to leave their mom when they were 7 weeks. And she was like "7 weeks? That's too long, they're allowed to leave when they're 5 weeks" and like she was really pressuring us into saying she could have it when it was 5 or 6 weeks old. But I was like "I'll call you when they can go to their homes."
And today she stopped by, unexpected, and wanted to see the kittens. So I let her in.. and she was all "oh look, they even are starting to eat real food, they're ready to leave their mom already" and she wanted to take it home today. But I didn't let her, and she was being all rude and I got mad and was like "my parents will be home around 6pm if you want to talk to them about it, but as far as I'm concerned, they're not leaving until they're at least 7 weeks. Now if you don't mind, I was about to have lunch and I have a lot of work to do.." & I made her leave.
So grrr at that lady. You can have her kitten, I'm sure you'd be a much better owner for it!
Ha, I was actually right about the breeds. Or at least partly! xp

I know! It's good for them to spend time playing with each other and stuff too, it gives them confidence and is good for their psychological development 3nodding (yay for sounding smart xd )
My best friend used to have a husky mix, and I used to have two black labs, and before that a yellow lab, so I guess that's why I recognized them xp

Yeah, but that's true for any animal, including us.
If any animal isn't socialized as a young one, then it won't really be social as an adult.
Which isn't very good.

My mom called that lady and said she had to wait until the kitten was 7 weeks, and not a day earlier. And the lady was like "I want it now, or I'm not taking it." So my mom said "Well that's settled then." and hung up.
Yay! whee
Is it wrong if I hope we don't find a home for it too too soon? That way I can keep it longer xp domokun
There's someone else who was interested though, but all the kittens had been claimed already, so maybe that person will still want one 3nodding

I had 15 goldfishes, but someone coughbrothercough put something in the bowl by accident that killed them. stare
I can't have dogs or cats, mainly because I'm allergic to them.
