I was hoping that Barack and Hilary would merge together into a super being that would banish the Republicans to the depths of Iran. (not srsly)
As for November, I'm pretty sure it could go either way. I fully expect certain states to vote for McCain, where as I can't say the same for Obama.

The only way I'd vote for Obama as of now would be if him and Clinton were on the same ticket... the kid just doesn't have enough experience to run a country. I'm looking at my options. ninja Between Obama and McCain, that is.

Like I said before, if you can't be a doctor with five years of schooling, you can't be a president.

Written in the Constitution are guidelines, over 35, be citizen for whole life, etc. As long as an American fits those requirements, hell if it's some guy who just got done being a professional clown and wants to be president and enough people vote for him, Im perfectly fine with that. oh BTW, inexperience hmmmmmmmm where have i seen that before oh yeah bush *cough* *cough*

Oh wow. I am sorry to revive threads that have been dead for a month, but I really just love adding my two cents.
OBAMA WON YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS *Throws a HUGE party*
(Yes, I knew about it a while back. ;P Never too late to celebrate!)
Pixie, I'm sorry that your favorite candidate lost. I would go one to tell you about how Obama and Clinton are very similar and that you shouldn't worry, but I saw in another thread that you're rooting for Obama now. There's a good chance that he'll choose Hillary anyway, if that makes you feel better.
And yes, Bush was the governer of Texas... but Obama is a U.S. Senator. He holds to power to make laws (if enough of Congress agrees). I think that's worth something.

I really thought about it and there isn't really a big difference between what Hillary and Obama stand for.

It would be a shame for them to choose McCain or to not even vote just out of spite, y'know? My uncle refuses to vote in November because Hillary lost.

rockerpixie I know the country needs a democrat in the White House right now... but we also need a president with more than five years experience. Like I said before, if you can't be a doctor with five years of schooling, you can't be a president. Many great presidents had little experience before taking office. Take Lincoln, for example. Besides, just because Barack hasn't had phenomenal experience within the American government, does not mean he has little experience in general. I consider the work that he did in Chicago, like helping homeless people and giving them the hope and motivation to get back on their feet, and being a civil rights lawyer, great accomplishments on his resume. Call me crazy, but I think that's a bit more impressive than being the governer of Texas and or being in a plane that's shot down and subsequently being taken prisoner. I think Barack has sufficiently proven himself, and you would too if you knew of his history and background.
