Well, I've seen a lot of shrines in the forums and I was wondering if there are ANY characters that were disliked in the game.
I didn't really hate him, but after the fall of Axzeriuth, when that boy died, I wanted to strangle Van!

I don't really like Van a lot..........he gets annoying after a while. Also, I really am starting to hate Mohs. After a couple of times, his voice can get SUPER annoying and also a little irritating.........

'Cause I'm the one you love to hate, but not to daaate-- I'll stop now. ^^"
I hate Mohs and Van, I've also started to hate Ginji lately.
Mohs and Van = Probably the most hated Tales of the Abyss characters just judging from this thread and the other hate thread in some subforum, I forget which.
EDIT: Mose... xDD;; I haven't actually played the game in a while now.

I kinda like Asch but his attitude is the one thing that irritates me. Wasn't it Van's fault that everything turned out the way it did? If so, he must have serious issues to not realize Luke isn't really responsible.

So true.
Luke was the one who set off the chain of events beginning at, but Van initiated it.
That and he started his own series of um, unfortunate events when SPOILER: he replicated the original Luke.
Who's really responsible, here? -3-;;

If so, he must have serious issues to not realize Luke isn't really responsible. I don't really think that's the case. To me, Luke and Asch king of reminded me of siblings. While Luke was jealous of Van acknoledging Asch, Asch was jealous of Luke stealing his life and having friends. Luke saw Asch as being better, while Asch saw Luke as being superior, only Asch treated that with resentment rather then the infirority Luke had.

Uh. I've always disliked Natalia. Princesses aren't the thing for me, especially when they act snobbish and has this 'essence of great beauty, grace, and pure-hearted kindness' when people see her. That is so not true, for me. She even gets away with snagging three of the best dudes in the game (Asch, Guy, and Luke) Why does she officially get three D: Like, in the manga. Tear always says SHES SO BEAUTIFUL WITH ALL THE PRETTY FLOWER PETALS. And stuff then she goes around and whores everyone. Uh. Luke annoyed me in the beginning, same for Mieu. I never really cared about Van, all I thought was to kill him then beat the game. Asch irritated me, greatly. Oh, I don't like Mohs... call me biased but I only hated him because I made fun of his... weight. Lol.

freakofnature89 Pre-Akzeriuth Luke. I just want to punch him. gonk Doesn't, like, everyone? rofl I think I have the most loathing for Mohs, much moreso than Van. I think it's because I have a bias in favor of radical revolutionaries and against destructive traditionalism. With all of the God-Generals, I can see why they wound up like they did, so I'd find it hard to actually hate them. I mean, insane goals and reprehensible tactics aside, I can sort of admire Van. Mohs on the other hand is just an a*****e In Power with no ability to assimilate new information into his worldview or change his mind. He's probably the one that I had the most GLEE when I took him out. Take THAT you b*****d. Wheras with Van and the various God-Generals it's hard not to wish it wasn't necessary. As characters, I don't dislike her per se, but I've always found Tear kind of dull sweatdrop And Asch grates on my nerves a bit. ninja

That's a really good reason to hate Mohs. You put it waaay better than I could've, my reason is pretty shallow, he SPOILER basically killed Ion, and I liked that kiddo. >3< To wrap this up, Mohs was really easy to kill, pretty fitting for someone that pathetic. And same with the God-Generals, I've actually begun to question how 'heroic' the group was after Dist and Arietta... Those two in particular come to mind for me. Especially Dist because he's such a frustrated character, it just seems unfair. (Alright, so he doesn't die if you do this one sidequest, but still.) All he needs to do is grow up-- and heck, Jade, too, for teasing him that much. As for Arietta, she said it was a fight to the death, but Anise didn't fight her by herself like I seem to remember her saying that she wanted her to.
Thank gawd I'm not the only one who thought Tear was kind of dull. I thought it wouldn't have hurt to make her a little bit more interesting, just a little bit. >.>

I think she will recruit Guy and Peony to her cause). rofl Yeah, it's hard to put my finger on WHY, just... blah. Oh well.

Pre-haircut Luke: First twenty minutes of the game and I was already sick of him. Asch (at times): I don't hate him completely, but I hate how he always acts like he's on his man-period 24/7. Dx Mohs: It's creepy how obsessed with the score he is plus *SPOILER! HIGHLIGHT TO READ!* he killed Ion!

I thought Mohs was more annoying than anything. Except for the spoiler that was already mentioned, after that I absolutely hated him.
I don't like Anise because... for some reason, she thinks that it's a good idea to put strawberries on a sandwich. >.> Sure, I lol whenever she gets into her act, but still... who puts strawberries on a sandwich?
Also, Guy because he keeps dying on Unknown. gonk It's not so bad after Tear learns Resurrection, but he was the entire reason I didn't have any Life Bottles after the Abandoned Factory. u.u
