The lone female gave a yawn as night fell over the lands. Standing, she stretched out the kinks within her body and joints while keeping hold of the branch she slept on with her claws. It would be hunting time soon, and she was getting hungry. Gold eyes ablaze, she swiftly jumped from her perch upon a tree, not stopping to steady herself, going at an easy trot. So, what would the feast be tonight? Wildebeest? Gazelle? Cheetah? Or perhaps...a lion? Whichever blood tasted sweeter, it didn't matter to her. All she knew was that she was hungry..and she needed that hunger to be filled immediately.

The male's eyes were aglow as he sensed nightfall. He growled low as he slunk out of his lair. Now in the dark was the time for creatures on the night to rule. The scent of blood would be carried on by the wind as he prowled off in search of prey. As his paws touched the ground the grass would die and the ground would burn away, turning into a strange metal surface. But as his paws lifted away the ground would revert to normal, leaving only a trail of dark blood to mark his passing.

Rayne's eyes suddenly snapped wide open. Blood! So fresh and full of life! Like a moth to a flame, she quickly hunted down the source, hiding in the brush. Her fangs gleamed in the faint moonlight, her gold eyes glowing with hunger. Soon, she found the source - a male. He seemed big, bulky...and bloody. Creeping forward, she gave a slight growl of greeting, her muscles taut. "You smell...so sweet, Stranger. Who are you?"

He lifted his head, eyeing the female with a raised brow. "I am one such as you have never seen before if you've lived to ask such a question." He stepped closer with a smirk, blood dripping from his flakes. "I am Abbadon, bearer of the silent curse corrupting this world. And you, my dear creature of darkness? Who are you?"

Holding her head high, she matched his gaze. "I am Rayne, spawn of an unholy union of a bat and a lion..." Her eyes slightly glowed as he came closer, the scent of his blood intoxicating her to slight madness. She shivered, trying to keep her bearings and guard about her. "It is a pleasure to meet one such as yourself, Abaddon..." Keeping still, she bowed to him, her muscles slightly quivering.

He laughed low, flicking his tail. "You bow to a cursed demon such as I? The unholy union of a bat and a lion? What of the union between death itself and a cursed corpse? What sort of unholy un-life could that union bear?" He perked his ears up, eyeing her once more, noting something off. "You're a blood drinker, aren't you?"

"Nice of you to notice." She straightened up, her fangs enlarged somehow. "I have been told by my mother that my sire was a vampire, a dark one. He made her into his slave one night, and certain events occurred. I have a brother out and about, and my mother has still yet to return from her lover's castle up north..." Her tail flicked a little, creeping a little closer. Only if she could have a slight drop of his blood...just something to quell her hunger if only for a little while...

He smirked. "Can't say I've met a vampire before. Such a lovely meeting... And me all drenched in the blood of the innocent." His smirk turned teasing. "You hunger, don't you? The smell of it is all around us."

Rayne tried to keep her calm, but it was so hard...and he was teasing her with his cool words..."I know...the blood of the innocent..the virgin...the sweetest of sweets.." She came forward, maw slightly hanging open to catch even a mere droplet of his blood. "Maybe...just a little taste?" She murmured, her eyes glazed over in a drunken stupor of need for the blood...his blood..

He smirked, stepping aside with a low laugh. "A little taste? What good is a little taste? What harm? A price, perhaps?" A claw was drawn up to his flake, catching a droplet, which hung like a ruby in the light of the moon. "Perhaps this once I'll be nice and let you know the taste of innocence..." He held his paw out to her, offering the drop of blood with a smirk.

Rayne managed to keep her cool, stepping toward the blood offering slowly. Letting her tongue seep over the liquid, she relished in the coppery taste of the innocence. Her eyes rolled back in her head slightly, before she regained herself. "That was...quite tasty...very cool and delicious..." She looked up at him with a fanged grin. "Please sir, may I have another?" She came up to him, nuzzling her head into his mane, taking in a deep breath of the blood he emitted so well.

She gave a low hiss, her tail flicking across his coat slightly. She continued to take in his scent, the blood dropping onto her fur, giving her a sensation she never thought possible. Muscles rippled under her coat, her claws suddenly unsheathing, fangs growing. "What would you be willing to take...?" Slowly, the female slipped from him, part of her becoming empty for some reason. She stared at him hungrily, chest heaving, jaws slightly open, eyes glowing a gold shade. "What would you be willing to do to satisfy my thirst?"

A fanged grin met her. "I can take anything you seem to be thinking, my sweet." His claws dug into the ground. "The price here is what you would pay to taste it. You could rake my flesh, you could tear out my throat, but I am a creature of death." From where his paws touched the ground tendrils of corruption spread accross the grass and dirt, burning away reality and leaving behind a dead and corrupt version. "What would you give me in return for allowing you to bathhe in the blood of the innocent. Your will? Your life? You dark soul? Would you go so far?"
