Background: Coming from a family with a bunch of siblings, and while looking less than masculine, he learned how to hold his own. He isn't afraid to fight to get what he wants and is very confident in himself. Growing up he had to deal with getting picked on for his coloring. He dealt with his problems head on, a practice he keeps into adulthood. The male, in spite of dealing with a lot of flak about this and that, he kept a kindness in his heart towards those who mean well. If approached properly he can be a caring being, in his own rough way.
Altair is the outgoing sort and isn't afraid to break the ice or warm up a situation with humor if its called for.
Somewhat like his draco'ula companion, he has taken to wandering the land in search of new people to meet and new and interesting things to see. If he gets challenged to a fight, then who is he to turn it down.
