Story: After the fall of the Han dynasty, Emperor Ling, the kingdoms are fallen apart and a yellow turban rebellion is occuring. Under Lord Yuan Shao many gather and fight off the Yellow Turban. Afterward china is split into three kingdoms called Wei, Wu, and Shu who all fight for the whole of china and their own beliefs.
Wei is led by Cao Cao and is known as cold and ruthless yet powerful and feared.
Shu is led by Lei Bei related to the late Han emperor he was a cousin and wants to continue and rebuild the Han dynasty with his sworn brothers. The all time good guys who care for the people.
Wu is led by Sun Jian and his children who fight for their beliefs and is a more neutral and close family. They fight but aren't as good or cold as Wei and Shu; more in between.
Gameplay: Hack n' Slash. Theres story mode/co-op/veruss/challange modes. Story mode is where you choose a kingdom first and then a warrior you want to be from that kingdom. You play story mode based on the kingdom rahter than the generals point of view. Fighting to defeat a main commander and winning victory tieing your kingdom closer to victory over the whole of China.
Characters: Great! They are made wonderfully with new diffrences and graphics have improved. It seems DW just knows how to get better and better each time! The charcters portray and look more like their personalities. More costumes are also added making this a HUGE improvement. Also graphics in pictures and artwork have increased.
Music/Voices: Music is great and Voices are also portrayed nicely. They match each charcater.
Fun Fact: I can't remember but I think its either now or later they correct the english speakers pronouciation of Cao Cao's name.
English Speaker says: Cow Cow
Chinese Speaker Says: Tsao Tsao (real way to pronounce)
