Celebor and Niyana had been living together in their cave for about a week now, and the children's vases had, miraculously, begun to react over the night, and the two of them had woken to a wonderful surprise.

Or at least, he had. He was still waiting for Niyana to wake up. He was still laying on their bed, lying on his stomach, chin on his arms, watching as the vases sparkled and fizzed. One leg was intertwined with Niyana's, though he had no desire to move.

Niyana smiled as she started to wake up she had not yet opened her eyes but she could feel Celebor was up and his leg. She drew her leg up rubbing her foot lovingly over his leg.

"Why do you always wake before I do my lord?" She asked softly. She knew the answer for the recent days. For at night she would sneak off into the night and work on a project. It was just this night that she had finished it. Though she was un aware of her rather good timing.

"You always wake up first but you never seem to have breakfast ready." she tease him as she opened her eyes to smile at him. She could see he was clearly distracted by something and this brought a small flame of worry to her.

The moment Celebor felt Niyana's leg moving against his, he turned his head to look at her, his eyes glowing warmly with adoration and excitement. It was not her touch that made him feel this way, for the first time, however ... it was what was going on in the next room.

"Well," he smiled warmly at her, "I'm still used to waking up early for training. It's a hard habit to break."

He leaned over and kissed her on one eyelid. "And I apologize for not having breakfast ready," he murmured mischievously, "but I think today there is something more important going on."

He grinned and put one arm around her, drawing her up for a gentle embrace and then nodding forwards, towards the work room where the vases were still sitting, but now reacting.

Niyana laughed, "Well maybe we will just have to start training in the mornings again..." she stretched and smiled wrapping her arms around his shoulders and hugged him.

She raised a brow at his motion and then looked up. She smiled brightly and moved from his arm and legs. She crawled out of the bed and moved towards the work room. "Aww our babies...look at them!" she turned to look over at her mate and smiled. "They are reacting and so soon."

Looking over each of them she felt a strong sense of pride. It was so soon. They were such strong little dears.

Celebor chuckled softly and slipped out of bed, following her over to where the four vases were reacting and putting one arm proudly around her shoulder.

"Well, perhaps not so soon," he smiled warmly at her. "I've seen vases reacting sooner ... Skye and Serenity ... well they were just quick."

He pressed his lips to her forehead. "And now, before we know it, they'll be born and we'll have four little ones ... four little ones of us ..."

He could hardly wait for the time to come. A wistful look crossed his face, and he sighed. "I just wish we had something that we could welcome them to this world with," he murmured, "the way my Mom did for me ..."

Niyana smiled and rested her head on his shoulder looking over them. "Oh what did your mother have for you?" She smiled one arm slipping around his waist. She turned her head to kiss his chest then moved from his arms. "Hold that though my love." she jogged out of room and to her vase.

She knelt down and pulled out large leaf bag. She walked back into the work room holding the large hand made back. "Well I was going to save these...but...well I did just finish them..." she looked down at the bag, "They arn't that great...but maybe they will be something good for the babies."

She moved over to the first vase on the left. It was Ruran's vase and place a large yellow object at the base of it it was almost the same size as the vase. And as she moved away Celebor could see the yellow dragon plushie, it was hand made so there was a few flaws in it but the love was there.

She moved over to each vase and placed a very different dragon at each one. For Aras there was a pure white dragon with a small lip. Wrapping around Kanis' was a green and brown wingless dragon. And standing proud next to Ruque's vase was a pale blue water dragon.

Niyana turned and smiled at Celebor, "I figured they might be too young to have real ones and well we will have our hands full with just the four of them without having to worry about young dragonlings...." she smiled and then held out the bag for Celebor..."And I made something for you my lord.."

Her fingers were wrapped in skin colored wrapping from the nicks she had gotten from working in low light and with lack of sleep.

When Celebor opened it he would find a small doll in the likeness of Niyana. "My love...I figured since you gave me something to have you near me all the time...I...well I thought you should have something of me to keep you company."

She bit her lip and looked at the floor. She wondered if he would notice the fact her hair was shorter by a few inches and that the hair of the doll was her own. In the back of the doll there was a small slit. In which was a gem.

Celebor was about to reply to Niyana's question when she slipped out of his arms and left the room, but when she came back with the armload of plushies his eyes grew wide with surprise, and he stepped out of her way and let her place them, grinning.

"They're all beautiful," he murmured when she had placed the last one, "that was a brilliant idea."

He moved to hug her again, but he was surprised when instead of hugging him back she held out the bag to him. He blinked at her blankly. "For me?" he asked stupidly, grinning like a schoolboy as he reached out for it. "Thanks ..."

He opened it up and reached inside, his eyes growing wide and filling with awe when he saw the doll of Niyana.

"So beautiful," he breathed, running his fingers over the doll, though his eyes were on Niyana herself now. He felt the silken smoothness of the doll's hair, and he blinked in surprise and looked at it, then looked down at the end of Niyana's braid.

"You cut your hair for it!" he exclaimed in surprise. "How could I not have noticed? Shame on me ..." And then his fingers encountered the slit in the back and pulled out the shining heart with Niyana's name engraved in it. He held it in his hand, turning it from one side to the other, examining it, appreciating it, and then he pressed both doll and jewel to his heart and smiled once more at Niyana.

"Thank you," he breathed, his voice thick with emotion. "I will keep them with me always."

And he reached forward and pulled her close for a tight embrace.

Niyana felt tears of joy filling her eyes at her mate's reaction. She had just wanted him to have something of her to be with him always. It was small enough that it could travel in his shirt or saddle back and not cause too much of a scene.

She smiled and eagerly moved into his arms wrapping her around his waist. "That why you can always have me with you where ever you go." she said softly holding him close. "I found the gem laying along the ground...and carved my name in it...I hope that is alright." she said looking up at him her arms still around his waist.

This had been a wonderful morning so far. And it really was a beautiful day. She could not believe that the next step would have their children out and about. What were they going to do? Could they really take care of four children? Why was children echoing threw her head?

"My lord...your family is coming for a visit today..." she could not believe she had almost forgotten even if they had had allot going on. "Should we go meet them at the portal or wait for them...I know that they don't know where our home is...." She sighed and looked at their children's vases, "I don't think we should take the kids to the portal..."

Celebor smiled and kissed Niyana on the cheek. "It's beautiful," he murmured happily. "And I will keep these with me everywhere I go and think of you whenever I think of them."

He paused at her reminder of his family's visit.

"Right ..." he murmured softly, nodding and resting his head on top of hers. "Why don't you stay here with the kids, and I'll go meet them at the portal? You're right, they don't know where it is, and the kids shouldn't be left alone. And somehow," he chuckled, "I don't think you would be comfortable meeting them alone."

Niyana laughed, "I could meet them my lord..I would not mind giving little Jair a piggy back ride." she smiled and shut her eyes enjoying his embrace. "But you are right...I will clean up here and get dressed and maybe start lunch for their arrival hmm..maybe lunch should wait?"

She seemed far more relaxed this time. Of course she had the kids to help her be strong, she was not going to show them weakness not at this impressionable stage. She smiled again. She was always smiling with Celebor near her. "I guess we should not just stand around. Little ones your going to get to meet your grandmother and aunt and uncle today...I do hope you will be on your best behavior." she smiled warmly at the vases her head still resting on Celebor's strong chest but her eyes now open.

In a few more weeks she would need to remark his chest. This time with hands that would be the right size. The thought of paint tempted her to be bad, but she knew this time it was not relaying on them if they were late.

Celebor chuckled softly and squeezed her gently. "Perhaps a brunch?" he suggested. "You're right, it is too early for lunch, but I think we both slept a little past breakfast this time."

He put one hand on the back of her head and drew it closer to him so that he could kiss the top of it.

"And I'm sure the children will be fine," he murmured softly, his lips in her hair. "But I will try to bring them here as quickly as I can, as soon as they arrive."

He kissed her again, then released her, brushing the backs of his fingers across her cheek lovingly. A moment later, he tugged playfully on her braid and chuckled softly before making a break for the next room.

Niyana laughed and nods, "I think I can make that happen." she laughed and smiled at the soft rub to her cheek.

She raised a brow as he tugged on her braid and made a run for it. She gasped and ran after him. "Why you little punk!" she laughed and moved so the bed was between them. "You better hurry out of this house with some form of food soon or I will make you pay for that." she tease.

Her hands spread on the bet and she leaned just enough forward that his shirt would crack open reviling the top of her small but firm breasts and his medallion hanging from her neck. "And trust me my lord...my running is rather fast..."

Unknown to Niyana at this point was how strongly their children were reacting.

Celebor laughed and tried his hardest not to watch the dangling medallion - or the space behind it - as he ducked backwards towards the mouth of the cave.

"Be good," he told Niyana in a warning tone, though he was grinning. "We have to be extra good today ... Mom's coming after all, and Jair and Idhril. No tempting me."

Not that it took much. A look, a smile, or even just the sight of her ... all of it was enough to do more than just tempt him.

"At any rate I think I'm going to be off now," he grinned, "or else Mom will wonder if we've remembered about her. See you later!"

And before she could tease him any more, he turned and fled the cave.

Meanwhile, in the next room, one of the vases - the golden one - was beginning to wobble. The sparkles that were shooting out the top seemed to slow down a bit, and then they stopped altogether ... and then the vase rocked ... rocked ... and fell over, landing on one of the pillows.

And out tumbled a little girl, with golden hair and pointed ears, gold and gray clothing that seemed to be a mixture of Niyana's and Celebor's usual outfits.

For a few moments, she lay on her back, blinking up at the roof of the cave, and then she sat up, her teal eyes looking around curiously, taking everything in.

Niyana smiled and laughed at her mate's words. She tempt him...how could see when it was he that always brought out the worse and best in her. He was the tempter, not her.

She pulled on her clothes and made her bed. She was just about to move to start preparing a brunch when she heard a soft thud from the word room. Panic filled her...had something happen to one of the vases? Should she call Celebor back?

She ran into the room to see the brightest vase had toppled over onto one of the pillows surrounding it. The movement had cause the dark brown vase to fall as well. It was no longer spraying sparks but just laying there silent the mouth of the vase on a pillow.

Moving over to it she could see the small figure of one of their daughters sitting there. "Aras...are you alright?" she asked gently. She looked at the vase belonging to Ruran..."Have you seen your brother?"

The other vase next to Aras' started to slow in sparks. It continued to slow until it stopped all together and started to wobble.

Aras looked around the cave at the other fallen vase, then at the one that had stopped reacting, and then at the one that was still reacting without change. Finally, she looked down at herself, examining her clothes, and then she looked up at Niyana and blinked, her teal eyes taking in everything.

"Mommy?" she murmured softly, looking way way up at her mother.

She slowly climbed to her feet and dusted herself off, looking around once more. "Brother?"

She looked up at Niyana and noticed that she was looking at the brown vase, then wandered over and knelt at its mouth, peering inside. "Brother?" she called into the vase. "I didn't see you, are you in there?"
