Evy wasn't in the best of mods, and despite what her husband said she refused to beleave this one was her fault, after all there wasn't anything unsual about that book, at least she was preaty sure of that, besides there was no way that a third time finding an atrifact would have had the same outcome,t here was no way her luck was that bad. There had to be some other explenation as to why they were in this forst, after having been at the manior a few seconds befor hand.

"Just how the hell are we gonna get out of this one dear?" he asked tightly, looking majorly annoyed. "First Mummies, then a jungle with pygmies, and now just a flat out forest!" he growled under his breath. 'I knew books were going to kill me."

"I'm sure we'll be able to find some way out of this," Evy responed being the calming voice, though in truth she was a bit put out herself. "And I don't know how it could possbily be the book, it was old, I'll give you that, but there are no legendeds behind it, nothing at all to indcate it was a magic, book. I'm sure there is another good explenation for it."

"Least no mummies chasing us this time..." Rick muttered. 'Well I suppose we can explore this place. Won't hurt nothin, I just hiope there are no mummies...."
Rick hated mummies after taking down both Imhotep twice and the Scorpion King.

"I'd say we're due from a break from mummy fighting," Evy agreeed, "Mabey if it ever happens again we should just sit it out and let someone else handle them." She had acutly become more carefull, any artifas that had to do with curses were avoided, that second time had been a bit to close to home.

"Trust me, Rick." Evy reassuered her husband. "I want nothing more to do with mummies, anchent curses, evil braclents or anything else, we just seem to have the wrose luck when it comes to comeing across them."

"What in the name of Allah..." a third voice was heard saying and Ardeth Bey sat up and gazed at Rick and Evey. "Where are we?" he aked calmly. 'Where is Alex...."
Rick jumped.'Are you trying to kill me again?"
"Now why would I do that? You already killed Imhotep twice."

"You boys can discuss who atempted to, or wants to kill who latter," Evy interupted their argument. "First we need to try and find Alex befor it gets dark, then we need to find a safe place to stay."

Ardeth and Rick shot glares at each other, then both grinned. "Of course, My Lady.' Ardeth said softly. "Lucky my sword survived the trip over. The thompson..I left in Egypt."
Rick's brow shot up and shrugged. "Come on...lets go look for Alex for a bit."
