The navy and white femme had been born and raised here...sure, by a mute pushover of a mother and a father who disappeared when the puppies were born because he was afraid...but raised here nonetheless.
In Gomorrah.
Even as a young pup, Piper had the dream of becoming something worthwhile: an alpha. As she grew, she met a multitude of wolves and her need for power only grew. She'd decided to challenge the alpha female, Lilith -- the founder of this strangely wonderful pack -- when she was old enough. And to her surprise, Lilith stepped down without a fight. The wolfess she'd envied and hated had shown her respect as an equal.
But now, now she just needed to meet the wolves she was about to lead. With a keen golden eye and her chest puffed out proudly, Piper threw her head to the sky and let loose a howl, a cry that demanded attention. Come hither, Gomorrah.
To all of the residents of Gomorrah ~ you don't have to keep rp'ing. Just enough to aknowledge Piper's newfound leadership and either dismiss it or accept it biggrin

Aquilastre was serving well, and had been in the pack, even if it was on the outskirts, never really accepted officially into Gomorrah. But even as the howl echoed its last vestiges of sound before the next, the youngling appeared to the one who issued it.
She was timid, and submissive. "Leader, leader, leader," She whinned, "Am I to be accepted under your paw?" The blue with white dappling colored female snaked forward upon her belly keeping as low as possible. It was a ripe time for the picking to snag a spot coveted perhaps by others. She thought to hersef that she would do well to be on the good side of the new alpha female and pose no threat.

Piper peered down at the pretty little pup, a surge of pride rising in her chest. She could see the female needed a bit of assertiveness training...she was a bit timid...but then, alot of young pups were. It was only a matter of time before she grew up.
Her muzzle touched down to Aquilastre's, her tail rising. This pup...she wouldn't challenge her newly appointed queenship. No..if anything, she'd help her.
And so the blue and white femme smiled and nodded, twice. "Of course; I'm Piper. Your name?"

"Aquilastre," she yipped happily. The alpha seemed netrual if anything towards her. One small step. Her tail wagged so furiously that it moved her back end from side to side a bit. Her wolf smile skittered across her muzzle as her back leg gave a twitch.
She started to lick the bottom of the queen's muzzle, just one more submissive act before sitting down to wait. The pup looked at her leg with an almost detatched look which continued to twitch and bounce on its own accord.

((just quick insertage to show Lilith as there, but letting Piper take over))
The old one, the now mentor to the young stead, padded with heavy paws and an even heavier heart. With each pawstep she took she heard the wolfess' howl ringing in her ears. It hurt. It hurt to know that these lands, these lands that she had created from blood, sweat, and tears was willingly handed down to someone else. However, it was willingly and Lilith still held to her former engagement. She needed an out. She was getting to old for this. And if she cared one inkling about her pack then she knew that was simply that had to be. So the hurt was more of the knowledge that indeed...
It had to be.
And so when the old girl came to the calling she sat back in the shadows, sort to speak. As part of the scenery. She only gave one solitary nod to Piper before she sat down on her haunches and waited patiently. To let the others know she was submissive to the new queen but also to let them know she was listening. Should something go amiss they would not only answer to Piper, but they would have to answer to her as well.
She may have been old.
But she could still fight.

The blue and navy femme grinned down at the pup whose leg kept jumping restlessly, beyond her own accord. But Aquilastre was in the middle stage -- big paws and ears and an overactive imagination, nodoubt. She'd be a young adult soon, able to think freely without consequence. Or...something like that. She was rather submissive.
Piper's muzzle now clean, the alphess took a step back to look over the pup, then returned to her position. With a paw, she nudged Aquilastre's chin upwards, holding her head higher. "There. Perfect, kiddo." She liked pups...
One ear swiveled and focused in on a newcomer. And not just any newcomer. Lilith.
Piper once hated the alpha so... Being young and naive, she would've whipped around and challenged the older female no matter the circumstance.
Now there was only respect and gratitude. She offered Lilith a smile and a small c**k of her head. The elder wolf had come to the call. Her call. And she would be there. Gomorrah relied on loyalty, afterall.
And Piper, too, waited.

Yellow eyes looking out from the brush flashed as the light fell over them. Siki had heard the calling and decided he'd observe the new alpha for a moment before revealing himself. After the moment was over he stepped forwards, sleeker and stronger than h was when he first came to the pack. Having a home and security was good for a wolf. Glancing towards Lilith, the former alpha he gave a small nod but nothing else. He acknowledged her presence but knew his fealty belonged to the younger female.
Quietly he padded over to her, intelligent yellow eyes moving from the white and blue wolf to the pup and back. The new leader seemed fit enough but only time would tell for certain. Standing in front of her, his tail was parallel with his back and curling upwards just slightly, signifying his rank as Beta. He waited for the femme to speak before he did so.

Piper's ears flicked towards the trees, a wolf hiding among them. She had to still the growl that threatened to rise. This was her territory now and she need not panic.
The newcomer was wolf, but not a spy. Infact, he was a beta, a second in command to herself. A smile raised upon her lips as he made his way forth, tail upwards and head held high. Proud. Dignified.
She let her gaze trail over him, it both appreciative and interested. "You would be my beta," she murmured, tail tip giving a brief wag as her gaze met his. "Tell me how you earned this rank."
