It seems there is something sinister going on under the surface here at Gaia Online. This botting incident from March 10, 2008 is but one link in a chain of botting/banning strikes.

Could there be a conspiracy here??

GaiaOnlineSucks.com offers some interesting perspectives on Gaia's insidious actions. The site asserts that the subversion of Gaia users is orchestrated by Gaia staff. Why all this subterfuge?

In addition, the incidents of hacking and scamming have escalated to such a degree that Gaia has been overwhelmed with user complaints and hacking forms. As a result, users are left with a banned accounts while Gaia's limited staff has to sort through a long queue of complaints. It is obvious that they are backlogged since some users have reported that months have gone by and still no word from Gaia about the status of their case.

I think that users need to find a way to contact Gaia directly in a much more personal manner to express their outrage and demand some kind of justice.

This is what have been suggesting to users for the most part.

It might help to call Gaia directly. PH: 408-436-9205
*The more voices they hear concerning this issue could push them to review your appeals.

*Mention to them that you will report them to the Better Business Bureau for poor service.

*Threaten to contact their advertisers and express your unhappiness with Gaia.

*Also next time they have an Ask the Admin session in the Gaia General Discussion you should bring up the issue to Lanzer again.

Phone Call I received from Gaia ....

Hi Star I'm calling you back from Gaia Online, I received your message regarding your hacking report. I just wanted to call you back and let you know that hacking reports unfortunately are currently running behind schedule and it's taking a little longer than we would like. Currently its taking roughly in the 45 to 50 day delay before we can get to the reports that been filed, but since you did say in your message that you have filed a hacking report ... our apologies for the delay but we will get to that as soon as we can and then be able to respond back to you. I know that’s not the best news but at least I wanted to get that information to you to let you know that you are in the cue and we will get to your report as soon as possible. We normally don’t have phone support for hacking situations so the hacking report is the best method of communicating with us. The only information I can give you is that we’re just going to have to wait until your hacking report surfaces and be able to respond to it at that point.

Again, apologies for the delay but we will process your report as so as we can.

Thank you bye-bye.

There is hope my friends ... call, write, e-mail ... SPEAK OUT!!

I think people would need to have more patience. I mean try being in their place. Tons of people being hacked everyday and soo many people complaining about themselves being hacked. They will need a lot of time to complete such a big task. I know it sucks cause I had an account before and got hacked. My oldest account which I made like a year ago. I really really need it back cause its starting to get old and old accounts have like a lot of value to me. So I search for users who give out their accounts for free, which are old. But enough about that, my point is that we should be patient although it is taking so long, I know deep inside that gaia is trying their best. (although I have this other feeling saying that gaiaonline has a very selfish admin and only thinks about ITSELF and doesn't really care about other people and are really happy that gaians are getting their accounts hacked cause other wise they end up making new accounts and buying their monthly collectibles again and agian, which might make people think that gaiaonline is actually hiring hackers to hack other people just for the money, but I think that isn't true so I wrote the other one instead smile )

I agree that we need to be patient, but when it's been a year or more and still no resolution, what are we supposed to do? It's not right at all, and gaia needs to know what we think, after all we are the consumer.
