This is a church built around a thousand years ago, and was finished just about 250 years ago. It was named after Saint Francis of Assisi. On the inside of the front door, carved in the stone in English, Greek, Latin, Italian and Russian is writen, "PAX POTIOR BELLO (Peace is more powerful than war). Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace! Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope;Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy." Sadly enough, this church has been in the heat of many violent battles and wars over the ages, strangly escaping any aweful damage. It rests on the outskirts of the Mainland.

Kara walked through the halls in sadness an grief. She had to talk to someone an fast. She walked into the church an quietly bowed an kissed her hand. She was doomed to marriage an didn't know what to do. If only if mother hadn't died, god rest her soul, then father wouldn't be putting her in such a pediment. She gripped the pendant that her mother had given an sighed. "Oh Mother what should I do? Father is making unruly decisions on my behalf. What has become of him an I must cross him but this man does not love me he only wants our scared money an power. Let alone to hear of the family secret..." she said quietly. She must remember not to talk of such things as that out loud. But she was in church, a holy place at that, so it would have been ok by family standards. Once she was finished praying she sought some time to check out the church since she was not allowed on her own until some years ago. She walked through the halls once again touching the wall of such decor an luster. She wondered why her home couldn't be this beautiful but it's for the gods so she guessed that it was the best for them.

Edward walked in the massive church. "It's been some time." he said thinking back to his childhood, when he would travel away from his home land of Basil, and come here. He moved to the alter and said a short prayer before wondering around and admiring the glass.

Lily walked into the church with the feeling that she was being watched. She walked in and slid on to a bench looking around and restoring a few lost memories. Lily remembered growing up in this church, after her mother died her, her brother, and her father where kicked out of there home and stayed here untill they could get enough money to buy a house, but that never happened. So they stayed untill the raid seventy-nine years ago when a Vampier bit her. Lily and her brother hat takken shelter in the church and then Sam died.

Banshee walked into the church from a side entrance, and continued up into the balcony of the church where worship would talk place every sunday. From here, she could see the massive stained glass windows, the alter and pews, all the carvings in the wall and at front where the pastor would preach and where the beautiful choir would sing so often. As Banshee looked down, she saw a few other people and smiled. Then, she left from the same enterance she came in from, with the same feeling she remembered having for the first time after she changed, and although she could never describe it... the peaceful and content expression on her face said everything.

Aria was in her gypsy outfit when she walked up to the church. I don't sense any evil in there. I should go in then. She thought to herself as she walked in the church. She noticed there was several people already in there. She walked up to the alter said a pray and started back to the door.

Baron Hughes Vaughn tapped the rim of his messily arranged top hat and glanced around at the people who were slowly trickling into the cathedral. His dual colored eyes skimmed lightly over each and every person before he righted his slouched position in the pew and stretched. Oddly enough, he had fallen asleep. He had come into the large and impressive looking place because he thought that it would probably be much safer than relaxing on the steps outside. He hadn't intended to fall asleep, but the soft lull of safety and the deep echoes had let his senses relax and his eyelids droop. Rolling his shoulders now, the tall man stood in a smooth, fluid motion, tipped his hat to the statue that was near the front of the church and started to make his way out.
It wasn't that he didn't want to stay there with all the lovely company that he was with, he just was on a mission. The mission? To find a good place to eat and then continue on to his meeting with the uptight Viscount Noir. Honestly, if he wasn't on time then he probably wouldn't be able to enter the man's home, and as much as he admired people that were able to live outside sleeping on dirt with nothing but grass as a pillow, that was a little too rough for his sensitive skin and tastes. Hughes liked to have a soft pillow under his head and a bed that he could sink into like the clouds in heaven.

Kenomi sat much like her raven form on a rafter, watching the candles on the altar burn, thinking about nothing in particular. She swayed slightly, listening to the faint music nobody else seemed to be able to hear. Suddenly she rose and ran along the rafter towards the altar, pausing near the end, and moving more into the shadows, before dropping down and slipping out a small door hiddden by a tapestry, and designed to match the wall perfectly. she followed the passage until she found herself in an old room, dust covering everything. She walked over to the bed and smiled. This is where she had grown up, after hermother died, and before she had met her father, and nearly been killed when they found out about her. But that was well over three hundred years ago. She reached over to the nightstand and picked up a small hand mirror, the people here had loved her until then, and had tried very hard to give her the best things they could. But even so, she was much more happy now, she could be herself freely, she didn't have to hide her insanity, or vampirism. She was free, and she was glad that would never change. I better get going, it feels wrong to be here now. And so she shifted into her raven form and squeezed out of a barely noticable hole in the wall, where a stone had apparently been pried out, That was a lot easier when I was a kid.

He had rested his hand on the handle of the cathedral when a voice spoke behind him; turning, the Baron rested his eyes on a young woman. A smile graced his lips and he tipped his hat to her. "Lily, what a beautiful name." Bending at the waist he took her hand and kissed the top of it courteously. "It's a pleasure to meet you in such a calm setting." Straightening, he placed his hat haphazardly on his head again and let go of her hand. "My name is Hughes. Might I ask what you're doing here? Or is it for a more personal reason?" He let his eyes wander over the pews and different things in the cathedral before dropping his two separately colored eyes back on Lily.

"Wedding planning?" That caused the man to smile more; his eyes twinkling he asked, "So are you the lady getting married? The man that is attached to you is extremely lucky to have such a sweet and beautiful woman like you as his wife." The place would be good for a wedding, he mused to himself thoughtfully, however it was a bit beat up around the corners. Ah, but that just gave the place character! Charm! Yes, this would be a lovely place for a wedding. "I hope that things go well for you."
