Deling city. The capital of Galbadia, Located on the edge of the continent it’s not to far from the unknown tomb which is rumored to be the home of a GF. Pulling into Deling you arrive in what seems to be a town square. Heading west from the Square you will come to a large Whitish brown gateway arch. Further down the road you come to a shopping district. The district has an Upgrade shop, items shop, and other misc places. As you head down the street and take the corner you come to an Inn. Here you may relax at the pub down stairs and listen to the songs and piano music playing most of the time. Just further down is what looks like a small park with a walkway that leads to the Presidential mansion.
The Presidential Palace is enclosed by a large perimeter wall with iron gates, and always under guard by Galbadian Army security forces. The main entrance leads to a lavish entry room. Official business will take you to the president's office. There is otherwise the commencement room (where Rinoa tried to ambush Edea), which leads directly out to the podium that overlooks the central square and the Gateway Arch. There's also a hatch in that corridor that leads to the clock tower. [desc by otacon. revised by nick. finalized by Sheriff Ganale]

Sylvalee hobbled through the town and under the arch without looking at the intricate carvings covering every surface of the arch. She made it to the hotel and checked herself in. She took the elevator to her room and fell into bed.

Sylvalee awoke in the hotel room. Her injuries were healed and she felt revitalised. She padded down to the lobby and paid for her stay. She left the hotel nd walked out onto the busy street. She hadn't noticed al the detail in the buildings, the people hurring around when she arived. A ornate bus pulled up where she was standing. She hopped aboard and took a seat. She got off at the Caraway mansion, thinking it looked interesting

The ride to Deling City was mostly uneventful for the report team that had come from that little burned town. Okay, so they were being paid to give a report that blamed SeeD for the the destruction..but so what? They hated SeeD for the past..and not only that, Galbadia had been made to look kinda suck. That wasn't right and their Colonel was making steps to show that only Military rule was the best..but how would the High Command take it? It could mean their jobs if they were still stinging from the defeat before. The Sergeant commanding the small troop got out of the van as it drove up to the main base in Deling..put in his keycard, and saluted, recieving salutes in return from the grunts. Heading to the elevator inside the base proper, he enters the security code for the lower levels, and turns on voice comms to the meeting room of the High Command, figuring at least one will be there..
"Sir, I have an urgent report involving a possible invasion beginning. I was sent by special operative Ubel to give this report to the highest official possible. I need permission to descend to Command Level."

There's a pinging sound, and the elevator door near the terminal slides open.
"Permission granted, soldier. Get down here and make your report."

The soldier steps into the elevator and waits. He hasn't been down that far before..but then again Ubel's orders were specific on the way through the radios on the truck. It had to be the highest levels of command..oh well, he was just a grunt. Maybe a decently paid grunt compared to most grunts, but still. When the elevator arrives he steps out, forward, and immediately into a sharp salute.
"Sergeant Anderson here to report, Sir."
He pauses a moment..and still in salute until told to relax, he begins.
"We've recieved undeniable proof that the garden based military academy and mercenary force known as SeeD has invaded Galbadian territory. Last evening in the early twilight hours, exact time unknown, a man claiming to be a SeeD and wielding a Guardian Force brought a group of other mercenaries into a small town directly in Galbadian territory. All citizens save a few children were killed, and the entire territory was wiped out. The man was killed but we retrieved his uniform and badge. There is no doubt of his origin. We haven't made an ID yet on his name but Special Operative Ubel has said that's unimportant as of now, Sir."

The group of former military officers who comprise the Galbadian High Command that had replaced Vinzer Deling stared at the soldier as though he'd grown horns and a devil's tail.
The man sitting in the very middle of the open-squared table nodded to the soldier, rather than saluting.
Thank you, Sergeant. That will be all.
He waited until the soldier has left, then looked around at the other members of the High Council. The serious expressions on their faces mirrored his own.
Gentlemen, it is as the sergeant reported. Reconnaissance units from our Timber garrison have confirmed these reports of SeeD activity. The town in question was completely annihilated. This is obviously and without question precursor to an invasion. Not only that, it is also an atrocity, that we cannot allow to go unpunished.
Down the side of the table, another man raised his hand.
"It should also be brought to light that it was Balamb Garden that was responsible for freeing the sorceress Morrina Dubheasa. It would seem to me that the SeeDs wish to make a grab for world power, starting with Galbadia."
The leader of the High Command nodded.
Precisely. Gentlemen, we cannot allow Garden to get away with this. We must respond with proper military force.
Another man, opposite from the second, stood up.
"Providing an assault force will not be difficult. Much of our army is in the Timber area on training exercises. It would not be difficult to move them across the ocean to attack Garden."
And we shall dispatch Colonel Sigwald to command our troops in the battle. With him in charge, victory is assuredly ours. Gentlemen. We attack at dawn.

The man sits back, white hair over one eye, as he sips a glass of red wine and resumes eating a light meal of pasta with a hint of garlic and teriyaki, and a small plate of goldfish crackers as a small snack to go with it. He laughs to himself as he reads a comic book while he eats..then laughs a little louder, enjoying the humor. He wasn't a man without a soul, as most people thought. He just reserved his good humor for when few were around. He frowns a bit as the computer built into his table rises up and beeps..he sets the comic down and hits a button or two and leans back, reading what comes up. He smirks then, and brushes his hair out of his eyes..
"Well, isn't that peachy. It's about time I say, but I'd hate to test my real ability against a bunch of washed out kids that got lucky once or twice. Oh well, an order's an order. This should be fun. I'll test them."
He rises, dusting himself off..and calls for his maid to wrap up what's left of his dinner and put it in the refridgeration unit. But he takes his goldfish with him.

The leggy young woman was a distance away, glasses laying beside the tub she was lounging in, a hot tub, of course, submersed up to her neck, soft, husky russian accent flowing through her voice as she spoke up, one blue eye drifting open.
"Something of interest, Sir?"
Slender hands folded around the towel laying upon the side, as she rose upwards, water streaming in long clear tendrils down her stomach, arms, and legs, as she wrapped it around her midsection, stepping upwards, and out of the tub, damp wet hair snaking down to the curve of her back.

He chuckles and brushes his hair back again..the long white locks going far down his back..the man grins and places his red eyes on the woman as she puts the towel on..and in his most casual tone just simply remarks..
"Drop the towel. Then there will be lots of interest..heh.."
Just a shake of his head then..
"We're under orders. We're to attack Balamb Garden at dawn tomorrow. I'm going to be personally leading the invasion force..We're to detain and occupy Garden proper, kill the resisting ones..though, that's so messy. Anyway, it seems as if the SeeDs took a job they're about to regret..heh."

"Business first, pleasure later...."
One dark brow rose, and then fell, before she shook her head.
"So we are going to go attack a group of children?"
There was a long pause for silence, before the woman was shaking her head, the towel raising, as she ran it briskly over her dark locks, making her way towards where her previously discarded clothing lay.
"Shall I go first and warm them up?"

"mmmm..possibly. Heh heh. You knew it would happen. I arranged it that way..we can speak freely here. No need to act surprised. Everything is going masterfully. Myself, Ubel, and you are going to be key factors in this particular plan. Just remember..we have to act normally..we can't let on we know this was all a setup, precious."
He taps his chin idly..then shrugs..
"Personally I don't see a need to really prepare heavily. I'll just take Longinus, and Weiß and Schwarz just in case. I doubt I'll have to fight with my hands..even if they are mercenary soldiers, they ARE just little boys and girls. My intelligence informs me that they still have that woman..Caraway's child. Let's not kill her. She'll be good for leverage."

The woman turned a little more fully, legs still planted, as the movement of the towel in her hands haulted, and shoulders arched and rolled in a shrug.
"I still think it sad to attack children.. but that is my own opinion.. besides. It should be an interesting bit of fun. I hear there is another there who performs with a whip as I do. That should be great fun.."
Lips twist upwards, as she stooped to gather her clothing.
"So. Full leather, half leather, or Instructor..?"
She was moving towards her closet of 'costumes'. After all, this is what she did best, wasn't it?

"mmm..full. We're going in to fight, not to tease..not this time. Just remember those children disgraced us before. I was away then..I was learning more about myself. With this power now, I can lead much better than before. Their spirits will fall before my own. The holy light will shine and take them to the underworld, past the gates of Pluton and into oblivion."
He shrugs again, and walks over, leaning to give the woman a soft, brief kiss..then cracks his neck idly to either side.
"Still, they have to have some kind of skill to be able to take on the army, even if it wasn't as good then as it is now.."

She tipped her head just slightly, when lips pressed against her cheek, slanting her eyes towards her commanding officer, the curve of her mouth twitching, repressing a smile, before she turned back towards her closet. A few moments later she was dressed in skintight leather, fastening her belt around her waist.
"You're always so dramatic. Sometimes I think you watch too much anime."
A teasing, almost charming smile, as she fastened her black hair back into a braid, and moved to kneel, and slide her glasses back onto her face, rising one more time, with a soft chuckle.
"I'm ready..."
