Will they remake Lois & Clark?

Okay this question has been burning my lips for days now and I had to get it out and post it up onto our little guild here seeing as how they told the teenage yrs of Clark Kent I have been wondering this exact question.
Do any of you think or know if they will remake Lois and Clark casting Erica Durance as Lois and Tom Welling ofcourse as Clark Kent? I have heard only "rumors" of a remake on this show on google everwhere and I just wanted to see if it were true.

I don't think so. Tom Welling doesn't want to wear the Superman suit, and when Smallville ends I think he'll want to move on in his career and distance himself from the character.

Oh well I guess I was just kinda hoping for one lol, Lois barely got to do any fighting in the series untill season six came along. I do understand though that Tom Welling would want to distance himself from being remembered as Clark though.
I think it'll be hard for him to do but it makes sense lol, isn't Tom Welling supposed to wear the Superman outfit in the final episode of Season eight or something? I remembered hearing thats when superman will be revealed.

i don't think that is their aim. Because Lois and Clark is ALWAYS the story told with superman. Smallville has always been about Clark's transformation into Superman. Truly he isn't suppose to meet Lois until he is superman. Which personally i think they have found them in some sorts of story line dilemma.
