_____So I've had my Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 about 2 years now and only recently I got this glitch/virus/hiccup/whatever. Whatever it is makes my fonts all distorted; 8pt fonts look like 16pt fonts and they become choppy and separated.

_____The first time this happened, I couldn't figure out the problem and uninstalling/reinstalling didn't work; I had to completely wipe my computer clean. It happened again recently and I discovered the ability to change the unit in which font is measured. I changed it from pt. to px. and the fonts were back to their correct size.

_____So my ultimate question, what is the difference between points and pixels when it comes to font. And if anyone knows, why does my computer have this problem?

I'm sorry, I don't have Elements so I really can't help you there, but I am moving this thread to the 'questions' subforum.

Do you have any other kinds of software that are similar to Photoshop Elements?

Maybe their programs are clashing with one another...

And i think Points are used to accurate fit a picture so that it can be printed out.

Y'know what..I seriously have no clue. D: Since i don't have Elements either..
