At the turn of the last century, Humankind began evolving. Slowly, little by little, each generation was becoming smarter, faster, stronger. Man was no longer bound by some of the hindrances that their ancestors were burdened with. There was no more disease, seeing as how the people's Immune systems were becoming stronger and stronger. These changes are now the norm amongst the present civilization.

Few, however, received more significant changes.

Several people are recorded to have discovered something more, an ability that not only affected their bodies, but the environment around them as well. Confidential records of telekinetic activity increased, natural phenomenon, even prophetic visions. And soon, the secret was out.

At first, people were amazed. The changes had appeared in only a few hundred, and those people were first seen as those "Touched By God's Blessing". That is, until one man, whose name is lost in the threads and waves of time, formed a league of no less than 20 men and women and went on a criminal rampage. By the time they were stopped, nearly a quarter of the population was destroyed. Governments and Civilizations toppled, people's homes lay in ruins and a Global Martial Law was announced. Humans then turned they're backs on the "Touched" and shunned them from society. A bitterness swept over the humans, and people believed the "Touched" to be a cursed race. They were banished from cities and forced to create their own civilizations. And this went on for several decades.

One day, 20 years ago, a new league arose, consisting of a few hundred "Touched". They tried to take revenge on the people who had shunned them from their original homeland. They declared war on the humans. Many of the "Touched", however, felt that revenge was the wrong thing to wish for, and instead favored more peaceful approaches. This caused a division between the "Touched" into two main groups. The Symps, short for Sympathetics, sought a treaty with the Humans to team up and fight against their brethren, the Reclaimers. The number of the "Touched" is now close to a thousand. Many battles between the Symps and Reclaimers are taking place, even now. Choose your side, but be warned, no one is responsible for the consequences of your actions except you, yourself.

Confidential Report on the "Touched"

Case: #1 in the series of "Touched" documents

After the capture of [censored], the leader of the group that caused the events in the year [censored], an autopsy was performed on fifteen (15) members of the group. Five (5) were kept alive for live study purposes, where multiple discoveries were found.

1. No one person has different abilities then another, hinting that even though superior to Humans, the are equal with each other.

2. Abilities include heightened sense of hearing, Prophetic dreams, Telekineses, and an ability closely related to the concept of Biofeedback (see reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biofeedback )

3. Despite Telekinetic abilities, the "Touched" can't control Human action or reasoning whatsoever.

These three discoveries has laid a pathway as to what the "Touched" are capable of. On [censored], 0900 Hours, a treaty was signed between humans and a group of "Touched" that go by the name Symps.
Strategic actions are now underway to end the war between the Humans and the Reclaimers.

3. At any time, you may abandon your "Nation" to join the opposing force. It happens all the time doesn't it?

4. Godmodding... c'mon people... That's just dumb.

5. The "Touched"'s abilities are made obvious above in the Report. Remember that you can control any physical object, besides humans, to your advantage. This is, however, if you choose to be a "Touched".

6. The evolution of humans is basically this: Imagine your strength, intelligence, and speed, and multiply them by three. This rule is also applied to the "Touched".

Bio: Born in a colony with only "Touched". He heard about the war when he was young and decided that he would fight for what he thought was right, and for him, that was equality. At 18, he joined the Military forces of the Symps, and made it through a lot of battles against the Reclaimers. At 20 he was promoted to Colonel, and has been the youngest man with that kind of power in history. He has a strong sense of justice, and usually speaks more with his actions than with his words. His weapons include two Sig Sauer P228's and usually uses his telekinesis for defensive purposes, rather than offense, unless he's disarmed. He tries to take great care of his men, usually putting their lives before his.
