I've heard people have a lot of opinions on this subject, ranging from how great it is to have a set item that really helps you focus to how it's a horrible idea because people feel like they're lesser without it. What's your opinions on having energy infused clothing and/or jewelry specifically for the purpose of being worn while casting spells, having rituals, and/or focusing completely on your religion?

I don't have any personal items that I have infused, but I do have some peices of jewelry that do make me feel energized. I have a ring with a large Tiger's eye I absoultly love. I also had a ring with an amythist stone that made me feel like s**t and always dug up bad memories. I gave it to a friend who loves it, so it all worked out.

I have reiki infused bracelet. It is a healing bracelet. I need to charge it and wear it again.

i think that no matter what, the jewelry & some clothing always collects energy. especially rings! cause they're worn on the extractor/releasing point of the body.
as for wearing stuff during ritual...it can help guide the energy to where u want it to go...but in the same respect, it can also screw u up w/ the wrong energy is in the item.
for example my old amethyst pendulum. i let a bad person use it, it's tip broke off, it tells me lies so i stopped using it.
i miss my pendulum crying

well i have some ritual garb i wear for like sabbat rituals or big rituals but for spells and smaller things i dont need it then, i think that its good to have ritual garb because it automatically puts your mind in magick mode so you become more focused but if you dont wear ritual garb then so be it, its your choice.

Wicked, did you know that the person was bad when you let them use it, and if you did, why did you? sadly i did not at that time...otherwise i wouldn't have let her touch/"teach" me anything. she was so negative (so much to be considered evil) that she'd make everyone forget about things...especially times we hung out w/ her... (i'm still trying to figure out how i wasn't affected...)

Some of my rings are charged, mostly the two class rings I have. The one that is my dad's is the most particular. If I take it off for more then five minutes it is freezing cold no matter how hot or cold it is in the room I leave it in. Where as my class ring is negative I think. Every time I put it on I get a small twinge of pain in my hand.

as for jewellery i think any kind of jewellery you wear for long periods of time will eventually become charges whether you want it too or not.

I do like the idea of infused clothing for rituals but i dont have any. As for jewelry I have a celtic knot ring that I wear all the time and I have certain necklaces I like for rituals like my sea shell necklace. I think it helps to give a person extra confidence and concentration

druids in obod wear a robe its not really to get energy but eventully it will be infused with energy.
but its mainly to get into the right mind set to say right my robes are on im seperating myself from the problems of everyday life.
to think im focused on this ritual.
but its mainly for seasonal rituals or not in some cases.
i also plan on forging my Rowan staff soon.

I started wearing my Reiki bracelet again. I like wearing it, just sometimes I know when I shouldn't be wearing it. It gives me the feeling that I should take it off.

I had a few energy infused rings that I used to wear, but I've started losing weight lately, and weight always comes off of my fingers...I need to get them resized eventually, because I'm really beginning to miss wearing them. sad
