I seem to recall there being one a few years ago on the TOB circuit. I don't remember much about it though. The band I work with did an art show once and it was very pretty but didn't have the power that TOB judges like so, while it did win good scores and a trip to championships, it didn't really bring in the top marks that this band usually manages. Art tends to make a very good indoor guard show theme, but you always have to make the show into what the judges in your circuit want. Any theme can work if the whole package is good and gives the judges what they want (and the band can pull it off).

We did a awesome show this past marching season. It was the 47 Ronon, a Japanese samarui (sp*) marching show. We learned Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi, and Kararte for it. it was SWEET! whee 3nodding

My school has done Shostakovich's 5th symphony 3rd mvt (?) and Stravinsky's Firebird. I like playing classical music.

My band hasn't performed that show. This year, we plan to please the general effects judge much more. >< We're making an 8x5 volcano with smoke effects and our bass drummer is playing all of the bases as they are mounted onto the volcano like quads. It's going to be awesome. Another thing that we're doing is putting the pit on the field and our drill wil cause the pit to be a part of the forms. We just got the 'world's first' blue drum major podium. It matches the pit train and our smexy uniforms.
Anyway, have a great show. I think putting your pit on the field woud give you great disposition.
