There is a large island off the shore of Terra Tanta and almost touching Altus Undo.
It is the largest territory air possesses that has enough non-mountainous area to grow a majority of the populations food. It is surronded by mountains and hills, a rare few can actually make it into the valley unnoticed if they do not belong to the air nation.

The amount of distance between her and the ground freaked Amaya out. Even though it was a beautiful sight, it could end badly if she were to fall off. She squeezed her eyes shut and told herself to stop thinking about it.

Luke laughed happily at Amaya's expression of fear while skating easily along the air beside them. It was a completely unnecessary motion, but it was fun, and so he did it always. He surfed happily along the currents of the wind, riding its surface smoothly, floating and flipping around the gryphon in hopes of startling it into taking a snap at him.
He caught Lus's eye and tipped her a wink, then opened his eyes in a shocked expression and fell sharply downward, lost abruptly in the clouds below.

Before Amaya had a chance to react to Luke's inexpected fall she shouted. "Ignore the showoff!" And steered them towards the ground with almost as much speed as a normal fall, only to land lightly on the outskirts of a field of corn. Illusion dismounted with grace, and waited for her companion to get off before she could let the griffin wander and roam till he was needed again.

Amaya quickly slid off the griffin. LAND! She almost started to shout it once touching it. She just hoped that she wouldn't have to go on a long trip by griffin - ever. After regaining her balance, she walked over towards Illusion.

The princess walked along, glancing sideways at the crops on either side of her for miles. Half of them looked like they were dying, the other half looked fine. "Where are the crop tenders? This shouldn't be happening. It's a simple matter to blow a rain cloud through here so they don't get too dry."

Amaya glanced around again. "So... where did everyone go, exactly?" She looked back up at Illusion when she hit the end of her question.

"I'm assuming dead. But that's because I'm a naturally morbid person." She sighed defeatedly. "Let's go back to the capital city. Then maybe to water? But since they're mostly underground...we'll have to purchase some magics along the way. Can't go drowning on them." She gave a warm smile.

Kel lowered in on one of the border mountains landing not too far from the peak and entering a cave jogging. "Well, it's not the mine back at Omgitt but if I remember correctly they shared a vein historically."

After an hour or two of entering, Kel emerged from the cave jogging again. He was a bit dusty and carrying a large knapsack over his shoulder as he stepped out into the sunlight. He jumped up and took off flying north.

Lune walked out of the house of the far edge of town, a bag thrown over her shoulder. She had lived here all of her life with her family, but with them gone and the money running out, it was time to find a job else where. She set off in a small boat and left the small island behind her.
