Based on the novel series Book of the Swords, this RP is based on 12 swords of power, each with their own strength and weakness. Your character can only possess one of these swords, and its first come, first serve.

List of Blades:
Coinspinner: A blade with a pair of dice engraved into the hilt, the bearer of this blade has unimaginable amounts of good luck to whatever may happen. Also, it can point the way to whatever the wielder desires, though it is not as strong. The main weakness is that the sword can shoot back a curse of of bad luck if used too much. This curse usually lasts about a month at the most.
Doombringer: A very dangerous weapon, it tends to reflect any attack back at the wielder. However, the blade does not distinguish friend from fo, and cannot reflect any of the other blades power unless the user is in great danger.
Dragonslicer: As the name states, it is a weapon made specifically for killing dragons. It has the power to slice through the scales of any dragon, and can pierce the heart of a dragon. However, once the dragon is killed, it is very difficult to remove. It has no known weakness or advantage in battle against another blade.
Farslayer: A very unique blade in contrast with it's power. The user must simply imagine the face of his target, swing the blade in a circle, and relelase it. When this is accomplished, the blade flies from it's wielder's hand, and tracks the target through any substance. However, once this power is used, the blade has no way of returning to it's master.
Mindsword: This blade is unique in the sense that it demands loyalty from all those who are within a radius of the blade. All those within the radius are devoted and loyal enough to give their life to the wielder of the blade. However, if the sword has no wielder, the power still has effect. Another, lesser power is that wounds from this blade can never heal unless treated with more medication then a wound would usually require.
Shieldbreaker: The most powerful of any blade of power, it has the power to negate the other blade's powers. Once the sword is drawn, it cannot be sheathed until the fight itself is finished, even going as far as taking control of the wielder's arm with superhuman strength and speed. The blade's real power is that it can shatter any weapon it comes into contact with, resulting in fatal damage to the enemy. However, it cannot harm an unarmed opponent.
Sightblinder: This blade has 2 unique powers. The first is that it can alter the wielder's appearance. Not like a mask, but it decieves the outward appearance of a person except the wielder itself. Those who see the wielder instead see someone of either trust and love, or fear. However, this makes it impossible for the person to sneak about. The second power is advanced perceptiion power. It allows the user to see through any illusion, and have extraodrinary sight and hearing.
Soulcutter: Undoubtedly a very dangerous weapon, it creates an aura of despair to everyone within a radius that equals the size of a battlefield, including the wielder. Those who are caught within the aura suffer profound depression, not taking notice of the elements, hunger, thirst, and are incapable of movement. Eventually, those caught within the aura die of depriviation if the sword is not sheathed. This sword is mostly used as a threat rather then a weapon.
Stonecutter: A weapon that is sharp enough to cut through solid stone. It has been known to cut through castle walls, cut through catapult boldiers, and even cut diamonds. It has no major drawback when in combat with another blade. However, it has no particular advantage either.
Townsaver: A blade that defends unarmed people by any means necessary. The wielder of the blade, however is often used as a human shield against a battle. Once the sword is drawn, ti is impossible to sheathe it until the battle is over. The sword also keeps the wielder alive for the remainder of the battle. For example, if the wielder sustains fatal wound during the fight, he will only die after the battle is over. However, this weakness can be countered.
Wayfinder: This sword's power functions more like a compass. Whatever the wielder desires, it shall point the way to it. However, it shall only focus on one thing at a time. It will get confused if the wielder changes its mind halfway before finding the first desire. Also, it usually picks the most risky method possible for finding said desire. Also, it can be used as the perfect Magic 8 Ball. When a question involving a multiple choice, the wielder will hear a ringing sound when lookin upon the right anwser. And these questions can also be projected mentally.
Woundhealer: The only sword incapable of killing, it tends to heal rather then harm. When used, it can heal minor injuries, repair broken bone, regenerate lost limbs, repair mental and psychological disorders(including the ones experienced by Soulcutter), heal disease, and even fix genetic disorders. However, the blade must stab the wounded person in order to heal them, and it cannot revive the dead.

The story: It is medival century Europe, and the greatest swordsmiths from all across the globe have gathered to create 12 of the most powerful blades. Each swordsmith poured their own definition of power within their blade, and each were betrayed by their own weaknesses. The descendants of these very swordsmiths were entrusted with these blades. However, the hearts of men are easily corrupted and twisted by power. With a desire to wield every blade, the descendants set out to find the rest of the 11 blades in order to become the world's most dangerous human. But what they don't know is that these blades serve a higher purpose.

He wouldn't find out until six years later what it was. At that time, he was a pretty well renown assassin. While traveling, he came across a street vendor who was able to tell him what it was. Biography: Alexander was born into a poor farming family. His aspirations of grandeur were far too great for that simple existanceand he fled his home. While venturing down a dirt path, he came across a sword that lay in a clearing of a forest. The sword was surrounded by a group of people who seemed to worship the blade as a god. Alexander walked towards the sword, but as he drew closer, he could feel a presense attempting to enter his mind. However, his will was too strong, and he grabbed the sword from the ground, mentally forcing it to obey him. The sword did as it was commanded and the worshippers turned their attention to Alexander. Since that day, Alexander has obtained great political power and wealth by gaining the loyalty of many villages and small kingdoms.

Extra Info: Alexander as been granted the title of Lord and is revered by many kingdoms as a great man. Because of such power, he has been able to train with the greatest swordsmen in the world, becoming familiar with multiple sword techniques.

Another opponent dead. This was getting far too common for Devon, with all the easy victories over those who would challenge him. All the would-be contendors and succesors of his blade. Even though it looked good, that's not where it's power lay. The bastards had no idea what power they were tampering with. Searching the corpse for whatever money was left, he headed to the nearest tavern to get a pint to drink

Dimitri walked down a dirt road kicking a rock ahead of himself, the weight of his sword Stonecutter on his back was a pain, yet it felt so light in his hands when he fought, it was odd but he didn't dwell on the thought that much, he accepted it. He stretched his amrs as he walked and loked up at the passing clouds.

Devon sat at the nearest stool, and got himself a pint of the finest ale from Silver-On-The-Water Tavern. The place was filled with a warm glow that seemed to welcome all travellers alike when they opened the door. For some reason, this was Devon's favourite place. He was going to miss it when he actually left England.

Dimitri was getting bored and started walking on his hands, stonecutter slid and fell out of it's sheth and sliced throught a rock under it's own weight. "...oops" Dimitri muttered, he righted himself and picked up his sword and was about the resheth it when someone started talking. "That's a mighty fine sword you have there boy...to fine for someone like you, let me take it off your hands for you" A tall man said, the man had no shirt on and showed off his physicality along with a large scar going across his chest. "actually I think it suits me quiet well...but thanks for the offer" Dimitri said calmly and went to walk away, but several men armed with crudly made swords and axes. "You must not have understand me...give me your sword or die".These men were bandits, and they planned on taking stonecutter "well if that's the case...who wishes to die first". Dimitri said drawing his sword, throught the light of the trees the blade glistened, as if ready for battle.

One of the bandits charged at Dimitri and swung his homemade axe, a simple peice of iron sharpened and tied to a stick. Dimitri raised his balde to block it. His sword cut throught the weak wood, the head falling to the ground with a dull thud. Dimitri twised the blade and slashed, cutting the man deep in the torso, another attacked and another, one by one the bandits attacked, not lasting much longer then the first by the time the last fell, axe heads and peices of metal that had been parts of swords littered the ground around Dimitri, thought the weapons weren't destroyed the damages were enought that it would take tim to repair them. The leader smirked. "tell me boy...what do you call that blade?". "My blade?...it's name...Is Stonecutter" Dimitri charged, the man brought a brodsword out fromt he bushes and used the flat of the blade to block, Stonecutter went't right throught to the hilt, stabbing the man throught the chest., the man coughed blood then slumped to the ground dead. Dimitri wiped the blade off in some grass at the side of the road. "why must there be so much viloence surrounding the swords of power" he muttered to himself.

Dimitri looked up, he stood and shethed the blade. "Such corruption...it is a pain to see what it leads to... death to suffering then to more death and the cycle repeats itself as it has since the beginning of time" Dimitri said looking into the forest lost in thought for a minute.
