(( As they have wings, any RPs between Ravyn and Norryk have no bearing on the Jiron plot. ))
She was always alone, always had been. Always the Messenger, never the recipient. As the Messenger of Hell, she'd grown jaded. Perhaps even bitter. How could she not, she'd been hurt so many times before. She only brought tidings of bad news and therefore, when others saw her coming, often times they fled. Not that it made a difference. If she had a message to relay, it would be told and that was that. You couldn't escape the Messenger.
Once she had been excited to take on the duties that had been bestowed upon her. She had thought it was a grand opportunity, a great honour. She had been so young, so naive. Not any longer.
Long dark mane flowing into her face, Ravyn touched down before a small pool of water, folding her wings. Dark gray eyes gazed about, and once she was sure she was alone, she dipped her paws into the water, head tilting upwards, looking at the waterfall that provided the pool. It was beautiful, very quiet and serene, but the thought didn't cross her mind. That wasn't how she thought. From many years of experience, she saw the bad in everything.

 (( =D; what kait said? <3 ))
He had lost his way long ago. With the death of some one near and dear to his heart, he'd closed himself off to the world. A devil with an angel's face. His world had narrowed down to the day to day without much thought for what tomarrow would have in store.
The devil could not dance alone.
Norryk had learned to carry on, he merely kept minor memories simply so he would not forget. The bracelet was this. The necklace was something he'd always had, a rosary and upside down cross.
The soft wing beat of bat like wings echoed in the night. He had not sensed another in the location he was heading to. A small clearing with a marvelously pool. He went there often to think. Landing with the faintest of sound, his wings curled behind him, an occasional slight twitch in his large wings. It was a habit he had little control over. Paws padding against the soft grass he moved to step into the clearing, when crimson red eyes saw her. "What in the.." he murmured eyes wide. Now this, was unexpected truly. Flicking his long black mane of hair from his eyes he frowned. It was not because she was the messenger no. It was more he'd have preferred to be alone. The devil was a strange one.

She turned her head slowly at the sound of his voice, her eyes narrowing slightly. She didn't seek the company of others, not unless she had a message for them, and that wasn't for company, of course. That was purely business. Twisted, tainted business. And she had no message for him.
Turning back to the pool, she sighed. "Leave, devil. You have no reason to be here and I have no reason to have you here." Her striped tail flicked as she looked up at the sky, a gentle breeze blowing the feathers in her hair and on her back. She doubted he would leave. But that didn't mean she was going to either. She had been here first.

He stared at her, not bothered by her blatant demand for him to leave. He coughed to clear his throat, moving further into the clearing. "How about...no." He said quietly looking up eyes closing when the soft night breeze caught his dark hair. "I have no intention of leaving, Hell's Angel. I just arrived here after all M'lady." He sat down, and for a time remained quiet.
At one point, he looked back at her. "Does the Lady mind if I remain?" he inquired striped tail slowly flicking. When he leaned forward the cross swayed in the wind ever so slightly. It was interesting, black beads with the occasional red one.

No, of course he wouldn't leave. He couldn't make it easy, no, not at all. With a sneer, she turned her head to narrow her eyes at him. The movement of the cross caught her eye and she held interest it in for a moment. The inverted position of it reminded her faintly of her life and she sighed, turning away again.
"Will you leave if I say I do?"

He merely raised a brow at her sneer, and clipped remark. Without hesitating, he got up and moved just a fraction closer, red eyes burning as he peered into her grey ones. He was perfectly fine with her
"Not particularly.... why?" He said softly head tilting. The devil was even closer now, the red of his cross was reflected by the pools light. Once upon a time he'd worn the piece of jewelry "upright" but like his world, it had been turned right side down.

She shifted heavily as he moved closer, a scowl crossing her face. She was perhaps pretty, not by conventional standards, but in her own way. However, if you told her so, she would have laughed in your face.
"I did not think so. Devil, if you plan to stay here, at least have the courtesy to leave me be."

Norryk shook his head, studying her. "I have a name woman. I might be a Devil, but I prefer you call me Norryk." He rose a paw, and in a slightly awkward manner for a four legged animal dipped his head, a slight smile on his face. "And your name might be?" he hadn't moved yet. Perhaps it was possible he had not a clue to any possible disturbance he might cause.

She was tempted to tell him that she didn't care to know his name. Normally she wouldn't have hesitated at all, but something about his persistence changed her mind. Normally once someone had seen her, they would have fled in an attempt to avoid the bad news she was known to bring. Instead, he had moved closer, was asking her name.
Frowning, she shuffled her wings, looking at him. "Devil Norryk, do you know who I am?" she asked softly.

Norryk inclined his head ever so slightly. "Aye. I am aware of whom you are, but not -who- you are." He said calmly. Was he insane? Some might say yes, because he did not flee from her. "Hence my requesting your name. You are Hell's Messanger, but that is...a title. Not a name." he said, a bare hint of a smile on his face.
While his eyes were sad, a hint of truth still remained in them. He did not do this out of cruelty. He genuinely wished to know.

Her eyes narrowed suspiciously. She was not trusting, this one. Hadn't been for a long time. But... the fact that he knew her title and did not run.. It was alarming, to say the least. She had never expected that.
"You.. know that I am the Messenger, yet you still wish to speak to me?" she asked, surprise written across her face.

Norryk noded curtly, he was an honest man. Even with the pain he hid behind crimison eyes, he would not lie for the simple sake of making a tale. "Aye. I know you are the messanger M'lady." he said quietly taking a seat beside her looking into the moonlit night. "And I still wish to speak to you. Call me a fool... but it does not change my standings."
He looked down after a moment reaching back with one paw to smooth his wing. "Do not mind these, the right one has a tendency to twitch for what ever strange reason."

She was still clearly startled, but she didn't move away. Her eyes moved to his wings and hesitantly, she nosed the offending one flat. It had to have been awkward for him to twist his paw back that way.
"Ravyn," she said softly. "Ravyn is my name."

He appeared grateful for her help, it showed when his paw again touched down on the grass and he nodded to her. He listened to the soft spoken admittance of her name and smiled finally just enough to be considered a smile.
"Ravyn..." he closed his eyes and eased himself onto the grass. "I like that" he peered up at her, wings still for the moment. The right one chose its times when it would behave after all.
Tail swaying slowly he looked across the liquid beauty that was the lake, the quiet roaring of the waterfall. He perhaps looked to much into the aspect of nature. It was something for him to concentrate on. "The water is pure, you can tell by the sound of the water when it hits the lake." he murmured thoughtfully.

She shifted uneasily as he murmured his appreciation of her name. She was not used to compliments, that was for sure.
Slowly, she eased herself down onto the grass as well, setting her head on her paws as she looked about. Her eyes flicked to him as he spoke, then back to the waterfall. She hadn't noticed, she had only seen the jagged rocks around the shore around the waterfall and at the base of it. "I suppose."
