[The Story:]
886 years ago a band of angels lead an uprising on the belief that they should be allowed more power and rule in the spirit world. They were lead by Doreith, an arc angel commander, who persuaded a group of his most trusted and strongest fighters to spark a revolt against the spirit council. They were known as the band of brothers and together they helped split the entire spirit society in two.
Michael, an arc angel who didn't agree with Doreith's power hungry crusade, led the remains of the arc angel army to battle against the rebellion. Good triumphed that day and those angels that revolted were consequently driven out of heaven from where they fell to earth. The event gained them the name ‘The Fallen’. That place where they fell was known as Hitren to the humans that later inhabited the town but to the angels that built the magnificent white stone fort, with its high walls and eerie beauty, it was known as Arkenfall. In this town, Doreith and his fellow arc angels plotted and schemed to take over the spirit world once more, building an army of synthetic angels.
On word of these plans Michael again lead another battle, here on earth, this time locking away the souls of the fallen angels in the surrounding architecture of Hitren, where they are to this day, as gargoyles and statues, fused with the walls and stone. But Doreith had a plan. He fused his own soul in the underground part of Hitren, its labyrinths and mazes designed so that any object could be hidden there for years without being found. He made a scroll explaining how he could be found and reawakened and hide it away in another part of the world.
Now After all these years the scroll has been found and Doreith is to be reawaken once more, ready to put his plans back into play. Once more, with the help of the other fallen angels, warring to take over the spirit world with force. Michael, finding out that Doreith is to be reawakened, opens a portal and comes back to earth to kill Doreith once and for all before he is able to reawaken the other fallen angles and come back to power.
Entangled in all this is a whisper of a myth, foretelling the birth of a being, half demon and half angel. A bridge between worlds; inheriting the power given to it from either realm. It is said to wander the earth, fuelled by a desire to find peace in amongst the turmoil raging within it always fighting to stay balanced on fine line between his conscience and his instincts. He is foretold as having inside him, immeasurable power and so there are many people out there doing anything to find him … and to control him.

[The Rules] 1.Follow the GaiaOnline ToS.2. If you can't (or won't) keep posting, don't bother to apply. Make sure that you can post at least 1-3 times a week. If you are going to be missing for a while, let me know so I don't think you've dropped the RP. I don't really care how often you post, as long as you don't drop the RP altogether. Don't feel you have a schedule to keep up; just don't forget about us. 3. I know it’s a war but please try and refrain from killing a playing character, sure you can kill but I don’t want other role-players killed off if they don’t want to be. In the instance were you would like to be killed off for whatever reason, please inform me first.

[Pre-Made Characters] Some characters I Invented. Read 'em, love 'em, hate 'em, tweak 'em, they're up for grabs. Name: Hoyt Age: Ageless, looks like he's in his early 30's Race and/or side: Fallen Arc Angel General Description: Was one of the band of brothers that first lead the battle on the fallen side. One of Doreith’s trusted accomplices. His special gift is his immense physical strength, and he was fused as a statue, holding up one of the sides of Hitren tower. The residents don’t understand how the statue was created and how it can possible support such weight. But he became their patron symbol of strength. Appearance: A gruff masculine man with overly large orange sideburns. He wears a cloak whose sleeves have been torn in an attempt to better show off his massive arms. Name: Volamier Age: Ageless, looks like he's in his early 20's Race and/or side:Fallen Arc Angel General Description:Another from the band of brothers. His special gift was foresight. He wears a blindfold around his eyes and carries with him an angelic bow. He is able to see into the near future and hit targets with his bow with insane accuracy. He was frozen, bow and arrow in hand, aiming at the sun. The villages believe him to be the symbol of justice. Appearance: VolamierName: Laxarene Age: Ageless, looks 19 Race and/or side:Fallen Arc angel General Description:Yet another from the band of arc angels that first broke from the holy army. She has the ability to control Lighting. She's cocky and cunning and known for her skill at fighting. Appearance:  Name: Velvet Age: Ageless, late 20's Race and/or side: Fallen Arc Angel General Description: Another member of the band of brothers. This dark, shady character has the ability to manipulate shadows, having the ability to completely hide herself in darkness and convert herself into a dark smoke, able to fit through cracks. She was frozen half way through the upper wall of a building which was converted to a pub by the later inhabitents of Arkenfall and given' the name the "seductress" Appearance:  Name: Pen (short for Penelope) Age: 15 Race and/or side: Human History/ Bio: Every arc angel is conscripted to a human and through that human’s perils and trials their arc angel stands by their side. Doreith was also assigned to a human child by the name of Penelope. An arc angel and their human’s soul are intertwined, each feeling the others pain. When doreith was frozen, time itself was frozen for Pen, so for the last 200 or so years Pen hasn’t aged, infact, the souls of Pen and Doreith have become so intertwined that days before Dorieth was awakened, Pen knew and decided to find him, in Hitren. [Characters - The Fallen] Username: Chubby Mushroom Name: Doreith Age: Ageless, looks 27 Race and/or side: Fallen Arc angle General Description:Used to be the leader of the entire Arc angel squadron, fighting by Michael’s side against evil spirits who tried to enter the spirit world. He was a great fighter and together Micheal and he slayed much evil. But he dreamt of more. His selfishness got the better of him and he got together a group of other great arc angel soliders and started a revolution. His tell tale red eyes, a sign of his tainted soul gave him the nick name ‘The red eyed angel’ Gift: The ability that Doreith was blessed with and what allowed him to climb the ranks of the Arc angel army was his ungodly speed. A speed no enemy could match, except one.. Appearance:

[Characters - The Angels] Username:Holy Twin Name: Michael Age: Ageless, looks 20 Race and/or side: Arc angel General Description:Michael and Doreith used to be best friends, they grew up together and aspired to become arc angels together but Doreith slowly drifted apart after he rose through the ranks of the arc angles. He was Michael’s superior and taught Michael everything he knew but when he rose as far as he could in the ranks of arc angels, he still wanted more. Michael tried to stop him but he didn’t see reason and broke away from the arc angels. Michael consequently took his place and though finding it difficult to fight against a friend he’s always fought aside, he knew that the friend he once knew no longer resided inside of Doreith. Gift: Speed, it’s very unlikely for two angels to have the exact same ability, but it was what made Micheal and Dorieth great companions, and now formidable enemies, they shared the same gift. I became a vampire when I was 16 after my mother and father were slaughtered in the massacre of the Roman Inquisition during the 16th century. They were alleged to be witches and burnt at the stake. I'm a calm vampire although it doesn't take long to make me angry. I cannot stand liars and I kill easily. I'm not merciful and I cannot stand whimps. Gift: I can read others mind and sometimes have glimpses into the future. Appearance: Reddish brown hair but I change it often so it doesn't matter, olive green eyes which with my vampiric ability can flash iridescent when I'm angry. EllieUsername:ccubed Name:Nevan Age biggrin oesn't remember, somewhere around 40 Race and/or side your fighting on: Vampire General Description: Nevan grew up in an area around San Francisco, the slums to be exact. He was just normal until he was bitten at 19. Nothing really prepared him for the changes and he ran away. He moved a lot. He eventually ended up in Germany, where he found a sect of older vampires who took him in. From them, he learned of the battle of Hitren and the angels and demons who protected it. He also learned that it was going to be fought again. They wanted him to fight, but he refused. He wanted to stay out of this war, it wasn't his fight. He resigned himself to wandering. Until he got caught in the middle of one of the portals. He had to fight for his life. It was then he decided that he would help whichever side he felt held the greater merit. For now, he's still wandering, trying to stay away from those portals. Gift: N/A Appearance:
