PRP for hogyoku-chan and xXSakura_ForeverXx  A purple fox lay in a wet heap in a corner of the noodle shop. Her once bright eyes and perky tail were now dull green, and her tail curled under her face, was drooping. Whomever were to walk by was sure to hear her constant sobs and sniffles. The fox opened her green eyes, and slowly let more tears fall. She looked up from her corner and focused on an image in the air that didn't exist, a daydream you could call it. But, for this fox it was no dream. She saw a gold, white, and pink fox with gold wings and purple eyes. Next to it, lay a silver and white male fox, with a rainbow collar and yellow across his eyelids. They looked peacefully at each other and lovingly. The purple fox in the corner named Rayna, cried after this nightmare.

Rimi walked into the shop, trailed by her new little brother, Toao."Can I open my eyes yet, huh huh huh?"She shook her head slowly, boy was this guy a bundle of energy. At home he'd been running around in circles chasing his tail. When she had finally gotten bored of watching him she'd decided to head over to the shop. And... Not to her suprise, he tagged along.
She'd told him to shut his eyes as they'd approached the store, so that it'd all be a surpise. "Toao, watch out---" But her cry was too late. "Bonk!" A loud banging noise was heard followed by a yip of pang. "Owwwww!" He sobbed, shaking his head and opening his eyes. "WOW! Is this the place you were talking about?" He shouted excitedly.Rimi nodded, sitting down as her little brother looked around and ran to and fro."Look at all the foxes! And all the rooms!! What's in there??" He ran over to the lounge and then ran back. "And there!" He looked into the kitchen, then he noticied something different. It seemed like a broken fox in the corner. He ran over to her. "Are you broken?" He asked, curiously.Before she could stop him, he was before Rayna. She sighed and padded over after him. "I'm sorry for my little brother." She grabbed him, pushing him behind her. He still peeked out from beneath her legs though.

Rayna slowly looked up at the kit. She was so pale. Her eyes were dull and lifeless, her tail and fur droopy and we. "I guess it depends on what you consider 'broken'" She smiled at the kit but it turned out all wrong. She hoped she wasn't scaring the poor kit. "If I could stand I would. So sorry about the informalness, but my name's Rayna." She caught herself before she growled angrily at the older fox in front of her. Rimi. The gold, pink, and white fox from her nightmare. Instead of her snarl, she settled for a muffled growl. She made it so only Rimi would be able to fully understand what it was. She figured it would've have sounded weak if she tried to snarl at Rimi. Rayna just wasn't in good condition. She looked at the kit that peered out from behind Rimi. Red, white, and gold. Definitely siblings. Her sobs continued, but her hatred towards Rimi didn't cease. "Little brother eh? Wouldn't think this cute guy could ever be related to someone such as you." Rayna was in a nasty mood. Luckily, she disguised her words to be a compliment to the kit, but a put down to Rimi.

"Thanks! I love me older sis!" Toao shouted happily, strutting around behind Rimi. He then sneaked in between his sisters' legs and up beside Rayna. "My name's Toao! Nice to meetcha." He nodded happily, his tail darting from side to side.
"You shouldn't be broken when it's such a beautiful day!" Nudging her, he pointed out the window, smiling the whole time.Rimi stared at the fox, she did seem broken. Has what happened really destroyed you this much? She thought to herself sadly. This needs to be fixed! She decided, trying to put on a smile even though the words Rayna said stung, deeply in her wounds. "Rayna, my dear friend, how can we help you." It was then that Toao darted out from behind her, but she didn't mind. She hoped her little brother would have a good effect on Rayna.

Rayna smiled at the frisky kit. "Nice to meet you too Toao." Such a sweet kit she thought. "I really shouldn't" she said, looking out the window. "But I'm afraid right now it's not quite possible..." She smiled back at the red kit.
She watched Rimi deep in thought. "You know," she started, knowing she was jabbing at Rimi deeply, "anyone can be nasty and mean if they set their mind to it" Rayna sighed and wept some more, soaking her tail further. "What is their to fix if nothing is broken?" Rayna was challenging Rimi with all her might. "Anyways, you already know precisely what's wrong!"

"Not possible?" He cocked his head to the side. "Anything is possible if you put your mind to it!" He yipped happily. "Let's play outside in the sun, I'm sure you'll feel better then."Daggers dug deeper into Rimi, she'd really hurt this fox, so much that she didn't know if it could be repaired ever again. "Yes, yes... I do know what's wrong." Her tail hung down between her legs. Then she looked up, a gleam in her eyes. "But I can't help if you're not willing to get better." She almost glared at Rayna, this fox seemed to have nothing to live for anymore, no will to exist. It was disgusting in a sense.
Then she let down her glare. "Rayna, I'm sorry." This was the furthest she could go, now was the point of no return. "I'm sorry for hurting you, I'm sorry for competing with you, and I'm sorry for winning. Maybe what happened should've never happened in the first place. Maybe I should've just given up when I saw what was going on between you two. But you should feel sad, but not give up all hope, as hope is never completely lost unless you yourself give it up for someone else to take. Believe me, I'd know. I'm no longer afraid of the darkness. I've embraced both the light and dark."Toao felt the tension in the room, almost like he was being shoved out of the picture. He felt his sister's deep passion to make whatever was broken within Rayna better. Then a song came to mind...

Rayna stood on her wobbily legs. "Okay Toao." She turned to Rimi. "It's too late to apologize." And with a swish of her tail she started to walk outside. A song came to her mind as well:

Rimi melted, she slithered to the ground then, a pile herself. She looked up at Toao who stared at her as if asking if it was okay, she nodded to the playful kit, approval. Too late, then this can't be fixed. She sighed silently and closed her eyes to mule over everything.Toao looked back at Rimi quickly, waiting for approval, and when it was given he darted off towards the door. Near it sat a beach ball. "Let's go to the beach Rayna!" He laughed excitedly, kicking the beach ball out the door happily.

Rayna turned to watch Rimi. "I never said I wasn't willing to fix us... But he is going to be around you a lot more now, and right now, I'm not going to be able to handle that. It's not your fault. You shouldn't be saying sorry. Okay, in a way you should be... but what I'm trying to say is... that there is nothing we can change. he picked you, he genuinely likes you. You complete him. You won, okay? There was nothing going on between us anyways. I liked him and he didn't return the feelings. If they have the chance, guys always go for the ones with wings. And that's something I'll just have to accept..." She hit Rimi playfully. "Come on, you should come too. I know I'm not leaving alon with your brother. At this point, someone needs to have control over him!"
Rayna had a little more life and color in her eyes, but her tail was still drooping and her body was still soaked. It was too late for apologies Rimi, but it's never too late for repairs... You can't give what you don't have. He didn't have a love for me, so he couldn't give me that. He loves you and that's something he can give you. Take good care of him Rimi. A part of my heart will always belong to him.

Her ears perked up as she listened to Rayna, she did care, she did want to fix this! Jumping up to join the pair that were headed to the beach, she laughed happily. "Who knew that these things on my back were such man magnets." Rubbing against Rayna delicately as she giggled. "Yay, he is pretty crazy cute huh? You better watch out for him when he's fully grown!" Walking quickly towards the door, looking back at Rayna she hurried after Toao. "Come on, the sun will kiss your fur and dry away the tears!"Toao looked back and saw his big sister coming too. "Yay!" He shouted out at them, yipping happily.

The sun was wicked hot as it shone down on the three foxes. "Eeeeehhhh" Rayna wined loudly. "It's hooooottt!!" Rayna didn't like how hot it was. Luckily for her, they were almost to the beach. Rayna's fur glinted and sparkled in the sunlight. Her tears that had welled in her eyes were flowing, but she was not sad. She playfully nudged Toao. She smiled as she did so. He was so energetic, it made her be energetic too. She thought Toao might help her recover, and gain her a new friend. Maybe, she might be gaining a potential mate as well. Rayna stopped as they reached the sand. "Wow!" She stepped on the sand and jumped back. "OW! It hot!" Rayna was mad that the sand was so hot. She looked up at the sun. "Stupid sun" she muttered under her breath. She braved the sand. "Come on, Toao!" She pulled him onto her back, and started to run. She sat mid-way to the water and waited for Rimi.

"Why are you still crying Rayna? Are you still broken?" He looked up at her, concerned. Then he realizied that she was happy, not sad, and so he smiled as well.
Toao squealed with joy and dropped the beach ball as he was thrown upon Rayna's back. "Wheeee!" He screamed out happily as the water engulfed their joyful forms. "Come on sissy!" Yelling at Rimi to come further and into the water.Rimi laughed at her friends reactions to the sun. The sun was the most beautiful in the world in Rimi's eyes. It was light and showed everyone in their true colors. It never lied, nor tried to decieve her. The sun was simply pure. She stopped as Rayna and Toao ran across the sand and shined her face up to the sun. Thank you, for all you've ever done. And thank you for the beautiful day. Her gaze then went back to those she loved who were calling to her.
"I'm NOT getting in that water." She shouted back, heading across the sand and kicking the beach ball Toao had dropped.

"No no, of course not Toao!" She smiled happily at him.
She laughed as he screamed gleefully the whole way. Man, I've been missing out on so much.... She splashed around in the water a little and then let the red kit down. She splashed Toao, soaking his fur. She laughed some more.
"Oh yes you are!" She ran over and grabbed Rimi. She pulled her into knee-deep water. Then she splashed her with all her might. She started to laugh even more, but then she went and retrieved the beach ball. Rayna ran back to Rim and Toao and threw the ball. It hit Toao's tail.

"Ep! I'm soaked!" He laughed happily, strutting around in the water and trying to get behind Rayna to jump her.
He hid himself in the water, or at least thought he did. His tail was still on top of the water and jupmed out suddenly at Rayna. "Rawr!" He attempted a pathetic growl and bare of small teeth.
He watched his reluctant sister and splashed her himself. "It's not so bad, see?" He passed the beach ball over at Rimi.She watched, smilingly knowingly from the sand. Her body being warmed by the sunlight and soaking up all the vitamins.
Then Rayna was before her, dragging her into, in her mind, was her death! NO!!!! She cried out in her mind, her eyes going wild. Then she was soaked, she had no say in the matter. Once she thought it had all stopped she shook getting both Rayna and Toao wet. Then Toao attacked Rayna and Rimi took that chance to escape. She moved to shallower water and headed the beach ball back at Rayna.

"Ah!" She started laughing as she realized Toao jumped on her. Finally, she felt happy again.
Rayna frowned when Rimi walked into shallower water. She caught the beach ball with ease. She took Toao off herself and put him in the water smiling. She bounced the ball against his head playfully. She ran into deeper water and started to swim further and further away.
