When I rented this movie I just went on the sheer fact that I knew it was about a guy that fell in love with a sex doll. But after I finished watching it I realized that it was so much more! To anyone who has seen it; what did you think of it? And if you haven't seen it yet I think that you should because it really makes you feel like people are truly good on the inside.

I'm getting more and more fond of Ryan Gosling as an actor.

I have loved him since Young Hercules, hahaha! I think he is becoming one hell of an actor.

I thought it was a good movie with unexpected characters in it. I was amazed at how much the town folks accepted the doll and tried to help out Lars, he was more loved by everyone then he ever knew.

I liked it. It was a bit awkward to watch, but the story was intriguing, and the characters were great.

I actually thought this was supposed to be a comedy. But it was more seriouss and a little akward. But I liked it. It's an intrigue movie that's really worth watching.

So my parents and I watched it, thinking it was going to be more light hearted then it really was. But at the end we both really liked it. I thought the character development was really good and how the town just bent over backwards, even though it was awkward for them, was really amazing. the ending was a bit shocking for me. I definitely didnt see that coming.
But it was a good movie, with some very very funny parts. even if it was awkward to watch. xD

I'm fond of Mr. Gosling myself as he was also quite good in Stay.
I really liked that movie. He did a really good job of playing high functioning autistic, and the concept and execution of it were charming.

Ok, so I watched it two weeks ago and I loved the bowling scene and his enteraction with his friends. I don't know why but that just put a smile on my face.

His brother and his brother's wife were hilarious! Their reactions were funny yet real.
