I've only started reading the prequel for the whole series ... and I really wonder how Christian the whole series is supposed to be?

I'll go see the movie, but the books had WAY too many Bible references for me to tolerate.

You see, I have no religion, which makes it much more religiously easy to study all things Occult.

I'm gonna buy the book! Saving up for it. I'll buy it after I purchase this lovely book covered with ancient runes in it about Dragons. heart

I haven't watched the movie yet. I am SO out of the loop. I wanted to read the book first, but didn't have the time. Now I didn't get to see the movie because of this. sweatdrop

I'm currently reading the Chronicles of Narnia (by the way... I'm a Christian...) and it does have Bible references specifically the Book of Genesis... don't worry, I'm not a religious fanatic but I am studying in a Catholic school so I should know our Bible.... but even with Biblical references, the Chronicles of Narnia is a very good read. Try reading it as it is (e.g. like one of many fantasy novels out there) and don't compare it to the Bible, you'll definitely enjoy it! 4laugh

So wait, there is a new book? For the prequel, are we talking about The Magicians Nephew or is there a new one?

As far as I know there are 7 books in all... right?

The Magician's Nephew
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
The Horse and His Boy
Prince Caspian
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Silver Chair
The Last Battle

Oh! and I also learned that they have already started the pre-production for Prince Caspian... can't wait! whee
