i am running for drum major at school
and this is 100% election type of deal
(no requirements to run)
i really need some clever idea to run~
does anyone have any ideas on how i should campaign???

Wait a minute...the band just votes? Do you conduct or anything? Because then I'd have some good tips.
Anyways, if the band votes (with or without conducting, etc.), my best tip is to get along with people. If there's kids in your band you haven't talked to, make an effort to say hi or eat lunch with them or something (your friends will understand). Start saying hello to the band kids you see in the hall. That way, the band kids you aren't personally friends with will like you and be more likely to vote for you. Try not to freak anyone out though.
