I've been thinking of running a new rp, since I haven't seen any good ones kicking around that I'd like to join.
The setting would be at the start of Burning Crusade. Imagine stepping into Outland for the first time- you don't know what anything is, you have no idea what to expect. You are completely out of your element. You've never seen any of the flora or fauna, you've never seen a brown orc, most of you will not have the faintest clue who Illidan Stormrage is.
There will be similarities between this setting and ingame WoW, but certain things will be COMPLETELY different, and I'm not saying whats different as of right now, because I haven't quite thought up a plotline just yet.
You will be allowed to play as either Alliance or Horde, although you will be expected to be able to function as an effective adventuring party. So if you're a human and you OMFGHAETS TEH ORCS and can't contain your violent rage, you'll be kicked out of the rp.
That doesn't mean you're supposed to wub everyone else with rainbows and puppies, but I do expect that you play nice. Backstabbing a party member will likely get your character killed.
There will be adult scenarios, violence, limited OOC and swearing. This roleplay will not be for the faint of heart, or for the easily offended. There will be no mary-sue characters, and there will be no dark, brooding elves who sit in dark corners and slowly sip at blood red elven wine. There will be epic battles, twisted and dark plans, subterfuge, romance, daring escapes, and explosions.
Allowed Races:
-Any Alliance, including Draenei.
-Any Horde, including Blood Elves and Mag'har.
NO:
-Ogres
-Naga
-High Elves
-Gnolls
-Goblins (if you need to be a goblin, PM me and we'll talk.)
-Lost Ones
-Other stupid s**t like Kobolds and Wretched
If you decide to pick a draenei, you will not have the option to have known any of the other party members beforehand, unless someone else is also a draenei. This also goes for Mag'har characters.
So, what do you think? Is there anyone who would be interested?

Tengo interest. I'll play either a Goblin (LAWL, I THINK IT WOULD BE AWESOME TO BE THE TRAVELLING MERCHANT IN THE RP), Forsaken warrior, or Tauren druid.
Edit: I would love to be my character and the Goblin merchant.

My interest, you has it. I'd probably run a Dwarf (Ironforge or Dark Iron, Paladin, engineer, or "hunter" (dwarf with gun)), but UD, Tauren, and Gnome are possibilities. But there'd have to be a real story, and not just "you're all in a tavern. Take it away." x)

Thats a pretty good amount of people, I guess I'll start work on it then.
Kay you could subscribe to the rp thread to make it easier biggrin
I'll make a new thread with the setting and notes when I have everything thought out, but don't expect that to be done for a few weeks yet.

Btw I'd like if we only had a few draenei rather than half the party be draenei female casters. Lets be diverse.[
