 It was out in the middle of nowhere really, by one of the lesser used trails about an hour's walk from the Realm HQ. It was a warm day and the wildlife was rather active in the trees. Squirrels and birds chittering and arguing over perches and food stuffs. Beneath one of the trees rested a brightly colored kitsusagi femme, snoozing quite soundly on her back. But though she might seem unawares her ears were still on high-alert; any odd sounds, especially that of the wildlife quieting down to hide from passing predators, and she'd be up like a shot. But for now there wasn't any danger in the area that she could sense and so she slept on.

Out for a walk enjoying the sunlight and the dry dirt paths in the forest. He just hated getting mud on his paws and he thought that it made him less handsome or at least that is what he thought. His guardian Lazuli riding his back and he had been complaning about how his feet hurt and that Arken did walk a little to fast for the guardian.
It was Lazuli first saw the other kitsu laying in the shade and something in the back of the guardian's mind told him that there might be trouble. Then Arken spoted the kitsu and thought it would be fun to see if the other would want to play. As he thougth his guardian was being boring today.

An ear on the sleeping kitsu flicked as the sound in the forest changed. It was not the silence or the alarm of a known predator... but if it was a known harmless the sound level wouldn't have changed like it did. And so Paradise flicked one of her green eyes open.
It was a kit. Well... she supposed that was harmless enough. For a moment she was about to go back to sleep when she noticed he was coming toward her. Ah... crap. What did a kit want with her?
Little did she know that rolling over to sit up and get a better look at him wasn't the best idea. It had probably been hard to spot all the blue fur on her behind her bright orange ears and tails while she was laying down, but not so now. "What do you want, kid?"

Seeing that the other had gotten up from laying down, that Arken hurried up a bit thinking that they wanted to play and got excited. As he had gotten closer to see all of the colors that were on the others body. He stopped mid-stride when he saw that the other did in deed have the all desired blue color flowing all over there back. Suddenly he went from happy to meet other to I must have a blue fur sample. Walking at a stedy pace towards the other, eyes unblinking at the blue fur. With his guardian useing his heels and ramming them into Arken's side to get him out of the trace with no luck and then went to pulling his ears.

Paradise saw the kit start running toward her and grimaced. Not that she had anything against kids, exactly, she just... didn't really relate to them very well. Even when she was one.
The sudden change in posture was also duly noted, along with the guardian's behavior, and one of Dice's brows rose in a rather obvious "wtf" expression. When Arken got closer she promptly lifted a paw and used it to try and pin the kit down by the head. "What the hell is up with you?"

Right now Arken couldn't hear the question that was asked him as he struggled to get his prize, eyes still trained on it. Lazuli had stoped trying to stop him as the older Kitsu had him pined down. "He won't be able to answer that question. He loves the color blue and has to have every he sets his eyes on, by any means possable. Also goes on a one track mind until he gets as he calls the 'prize'." the guardian stated. Getting off Arken and seeing if pulling his tails would snap him out of it. "But other than that he is a very nice Kitsu,"

Paradise raised her brow further at the guardian's explanation. "So what, he's got some sort of weird OCD?" Just great. "What precisely is he trying to do get his "prize" then?" She noted the guardian's attempts to snap the kit out of his trance and tried popping the younger kitsu on the nose with her free paw. Gently. Mostly.

"Thats right. Everyone figured it out that he had that when he kept pounceing me over and over when he first hatched and that was a painful experence." He rupped his head for a second. "Well in your case just a bit of your blue fur will get him to revert back to normal," he said. Arken fet the flick to the nose but still staired and with one paw rupping his nose.

Great. Just great. Kid with a weird freaking problem like that just stumbles across her. And given the colorful nature of her fur, if it wasn't blue, it would be some other color on her. She curled her lip in distaste for a moment. "So what, I just rip a chunk of fur out? No thanks." Then she sighed. "Lemme guess he'll follow me around if he can't get some of my fur so it won't matter if I leave?"

"That is right, but it doesn't have to be much for him to snap out of it or something else that is blue will have the same effect," Lazuili replied. As the guardian licked his fingers and gave Arken a wet willy with a little responce but not to make him brake his trance. Lazuili thinking on other things that might work on getting him out of his trance, besides giveing him the color thing.

Paradise scowled and looked down at the kit for a moment. She wasn't about to get a mouthful of her fur pulled out. But it wasn't like she had anything else blue to give him. Maybe she should just pick him up and shake him some and see if that worked?
Then she heard an unexpected chirp behind her and went rigid before turning her head to look with a bit of a feral grin on her face. Blue bird. What fortuitous timing. In a flash she turned and pounced, snapping her jaws at the bird. It took off in a flutter of feathers and alarmed shrieking, but she'd snagged her prize. She turned rather quickly to drop the blue feather on Arken's nose before he got the bright idea to get up and try to repeat her performance with the bird on her own fur. She hoped sincerely that it would work. She'd feel bad if she had to shake him.

Lazuil gave a grimis on what Paradise had done to the poor bird, but it would do the trick.
Both of Arken’s eyes now focused on the feather as he tried to pounce his own nose but it didn’t really work as all it did he fell on his face. But he did have the blue feather in his possession and looked around to see Paradise standing near. “Well its good to have you back to normal,” As Lazuil slapped Arken on the side. He just took it as he knew that he had go in to his ‘blue’ want. “I’m sorry about that. I didn’t mean to do it. I just can’t help myself. I just love blue things so much,” he said to Paradise. “Also my name is Arken,” bowing gentleman like.

Paradise stuck her tongue out at Lazuli's grimace. A bit juvenile, perhaps, but it seemed silly to her for him to make faces about something like that. But then she preferred to live outdoors and hunt up her food, and thought that kitsusagi who preferred to remain house-bound were a bit odd. But eh, to each their own.
"Gotta have blue. Yeah. Noticed." She was somewhat mollified by the apology, since he seemed sincere enough. At his bow, however, she slowly canted her head to the side, blinked at him, and then snorted before breaking out into an amused grin. "Well they call me Paradise, your lordship." She chuckled after that.
Her expression turned serious again and she knelt down to look him in the eye. "You go blue-crazy on me again, though, kid, and I'm not above popping you one. I don't appreciate people messing with my fur."

Sticking his own tongue out at Paradice as he had alway hated killing thinks that were beautiful, but he understood the natural order. Most of the time he wouldn't come with Arken when he went hunting.
He still felt stupid that he couldn't control his problem but all things come with time. "It nice to meet you, Lady Paradice. Thats the first time someone has called me that." he said still smileing and with Lazuli slaping his ear as he was now being silly.
"Its something I'm trying to control. But it wont be the first time that I have been popped one and it wont be the last until I can control it. So next time we meet I will have it undercontrol,"

Paradise snorted at being called "Lady" and rolled her eyes. "I'm about as ladylike as a kick in the head, kid." She stood and stretched then, eyeing him thoughtfully at his promises of learning to control his blue problem. "You'd better do it for your own health, kid, not for me or anyone else. Not being able to keep from something like that could get you killed. It's pretty safe this close to the HQ but if you get out in the more wild areas and there's lots of things would like to make you into lunch while you're distracted."
Well now. Immediate topic of conversation dealt with, and she certainly didn't have another. What else do you do with a kid? She didn't really feel quite right just walking off and leaving him. "Eh... you want me to walk you to HQ or something?" It was pretty safe this close, yeah... but there were still dangers, and other kitsusagi that were far less kind even if they did seem more personable at first.
