I am rather curious on something. What are your views on pagans? Do you condemn them, hate them? Do you try to save them? Do you see them as totally godless? I ask because I have been rather curious on it in this day and age. If you knew someone who was pagan, who celebrated the pagan holidays, even did Tarot, what would you think of them or do?

Well, living in a day and age where all religions are acceptable in the United States (expections are extremism, radicalism, etc.), and being a Christian myself, it's commonly thought to be a red-flag warning to begin an initiation of discriminating that person. However, as a Christian, you must realize that other people have their religion, and we have ours. Whichever they feel comfortable with is completely in their hands, and we should not force them, but possibly encourage them to see from our perspective, as well as ourselves doing the same thing.
I'd say it's completely acceptable to have a friend who's an atheist, or a pagan, and you be a Christian.

I have an acquaintance who is a pagan. I treat him like all my other friends. He's nice guy - who I happen not to agree with. He knows I'm a christian, but so far no real opportunity for witnessing has arisen. We must be respectful of other beliefs....because we want them to be respectful of ours.
I would be uncomfortable around a pagan who was pushy about it though - or really into the witchcraft; plus I would be very cautious if your own faith isn't well grounded.

I try not to judge a person based on their religious beliefs. A few of my friends are interested in and have used tarrot cards, i personally think it's a really dangerous thing to do so i've tried to advise them otherswise, but it's their decision. I would never hate or discriminate against anyone just because they didn't agree with the things i do, so no, personally i don't hate any pagans. I would definately take any opportunity to tell them about what i believed because i think it can help, however arrogant that sounds, the bible tells me anyone who doesn't accept Jesus Christ as saviour will go to hell and i don't like the thought of people going to hell, especially people i know and love.
Hope that gives you some amount of clarity. Let me know if you have any more questions, you can PM me if you like, i don't check this guild very often. : )

Honestly, I would think that they were misguided and wrong. And of course, I would think of the prejudiced feelings by thinking they were idiots because they beleived in such things.
However, I would definitly try to help them, if I got the chance~ I mean... Pagans are technically non-Jews so... I dunno' but I would certainly try to help them!

Well, what if they used to be Christian but it just did not agree with their views? I mean what if they think that those who go to try save others really shouldn't try because they need to save themselves first? I mean the whole do not point out the speck in your neighbors eye while you have a log in your own? I mean is it not a bit presumptuous to say they are totally wrong when you cannot claim your religion is the right one as well? And Match, well, Tarot cards are actually not dangerous when used PROPERLY A lot of people keep giving it a bad name, those who hand neon signs on their windows proclaiming them to be fortunetellers, they use them for money only and they use them to try and predict futures and they frequently misinterpret the meanings of the cards. Take for example the Death card. That in no way means you will die. It merely signifies a change in your life. I myself use them as a guide to help better myself. It helps also to entertain during parties. I don't charge Its silly to do so. And well, again the view of those who believe not in Christ will burn, seems flawed. I personally do not see a hell except those created by the one dying. Suicides for example. I do not think they die because of a mortal sin but because they are so tormented and blinded that they create their own Hell. Sort of how it is in What Dreams May Come.

The reason i think they're dangerous is because the power that lies in the cards comes from demonic spirits. It's just a way for Satan to distract us from holy power.
And if you don't believe that's where the power comes from where do you believe it comes from?
Fair enough if you don't believe in hell. And sorry i don't know 'What dreams may come' is xP

Pagans themselves aren't bad, but what there're doing/practicing is un-Christian.

Ouji boards? Look em up in wikipedia. NEVER use one. Not unless you have a medium there, a strong one, to hold the spirits back. But even better, NEVER USE ONE. But yes look them up on Wiki. And AnimeMonkey, of course what they practice is not Christian. They AREN'T Christian.

I would love them and hate the act. However, I have a question. Define paganism in the way that you're referring to it. Understand, there are tons of different types of paganism. The word Paganism is much like the word state, it refers to more than one thing.

I think that what pagans do is wrong. However, although I don't hide my beliefs, I do not comdemn them and I do not preach to them and try to force salvation on them. That's not what they want, and not how to go about saving them. To really show the grace and mercy and power and love of God, you have to love them as God would. That doesn't include comdemnation or preaching. I have a friend who is Wiccan. She didn't feel comfortable in the Christian religion, probably because some "christians" weren't really christians. However, her boyfriend and I are both christian and have accepted her choice. Because that's what it is. HER choice. Not ours. We just have to love her. And I think the same goes for homosexuals, and hypocrites, and the people who annoy us, and the people we don't ever get along with, and the sinners. The best way to spread God is to let him shine in your life and to show him by being a friend.

Death may surround me...... I have a few friends who are Pagan, They know I am a Christian and neither of us push our beliefs on each other, but if we have questions on what each other believes then we discuss it as humans not trying to shove our beliefs down each others throats. I may not agree with what they believe, but I do not condemn them, nor is it my place to judge them. But I do not embrace it
