Yes tell me. I own many, but have also misplaced a few. The thing about bookmarks is... You can never find them when you need them! >_>;; But I like them pretty. But... also functional? Those fancy little tassels are nice, however they get annoying and fall off. A simple adorned bookmark; I've bought a few (like 3) Even have LOTR ones. And HP ones. Sometimes I just use firm pieces of rectangular paper/cardstock. Or make my own. DISCUSS: Anything Bookmark Related! <3 [my apologies if this is a repeat thread u_u]

(This is pretty close to a repeat thread, but I think it's time for a new one. I'm going to lock the old one and save it.)
I don't normally use them because I hardly ever find them, but the ones I have are quite nice. Recently, I found a Fair Trade bookmark (made in Egypt out of papyrus) in a long overdue library book. The book -wasn't- mine (I had no idea to whom it belonged), so I returned it and treated myself to the bookmark. smile

Wish I'd find random bookmarks.

I use Yu-Gi-Oh cards. They are portable, durable, and they make for nice conversation when you decide you are done with the book. 3nodding I also use magic cards, but I don't understand Magic as well as I do Yu-Gi-oh, so the conversation isn't as great.

For the longest time I was using a business card to a guitar store. Now I'm using the money-less prepaid Gaia card that I bought a while ago. I pretty much never use a 'real' bookmark. It's always a receipt or note or something.

That's actually a cool idea. I'd probably use a Pokemon card though =3

I've been trying a little magnetic Webkinz bookmark. Most of the time though, I skip using the magnet and just stick it in the book. The magnet has been useful when I'm afraid the bookmark will come out in a bag (it kind of clips around the page to lock in place).

I have a few bookmarks...not that they're ever around when I need them. Lately I've been using a strip off of a post-it note. I drew a heart on one end of it, and called it a bookmark. Works for me 3nodding

Although I would probably use a Pokemon card if I saw one lying around my room somewhere. I usualy keep a card or two in my backpack for when I start a book somewhere. They are so durable it's rather convinient.

I've got only a few bookmarks, but they're all made. They're actually very simple; just pretty cards cut with a coloured paper backing and a string with lovely beads on the end. I want to make more seeing as I read a lot of different types of books at a time.

As I Always Say...
I have a cute bookmark that's a metal one, with a cool saying on it. I don't remember what it is, but I have other bookmarks from my school and the Library. I always collect them if I never seen it and like it. Oh I also have Manga bookmarks, bookmarks that have a Manga series on it.
