People are scared of saying love nowa days... its sad, they substitute it with "luff" or "luv" , why is that?

cause when you admit to someone you love them.....it makes it easier for that girl to rip your heart out, hurt you, use and manipulate you

So why can't we say it to people more than we do? Is it that we're just afraid to? Granted you shouldn't over-use the phrase, you should at least say it to the people you care about every once in a while, don't you think?

I'll say "I love you" to anyone who wouldn't tak it in a romantic sense. In a romantic snese I think people butcher the word. Two complete strangers "fall in love" after a week and use it as justification for sleeping together. Like I said, the word's been buthered. I only wanted to fall in love once, but I fell in love a little earlier than I'd planned, so that probably won't happen. But still, people shouldn't throw that word around romantically, but in all other ways use it as much as possible.

I say "love" to people. (I love my bff Avarswiel)
Inanimate objects get "luff, lurve, or luv". (I lurve Mac, my toy sheep, who is my first born lamb pm me for the crazy story behind that.)
