I might as well throw in my own morbid curiosity.
With the release of IGN's Hoax Zelda trailer I got a really weird urge.
I'm writing a Zelda script. Its not based on any one of the games, so theres no real worry of bastardizing anything about any one game.
...but I'm curious if anyone had suggestions of what they'd like to actually see out of a Zelda film.

And ummmmm I know you love Ganon, but if it could be like Twilight Princess where it fakes you out as to who the real main villain is, that'd be sweet.
I actually really love TP's story. o.o Just because Link does silly things like cringe as he gets yelled at, and sumo wrestles.

I actually wouldn't care what was in it, as long as someone actually MADE a Zelda movie, and it wasn't a complete disgrace to the legacy of the game, as most game-based movies usually are. *cough Street Fighter cough Mortal Kombat cough Mario Bros. cough Tomb Raider cough Resident Evil cough Silent Hill cough The Spirits Within cough cough cough* ^_^

Hey hey hey. Watch it buddy XD Mario Bros is a classic, not an accurate classic, but back in the day they didn't have much more to go on but the arcade game XDDD
Also Spirits Within, if people didn't compare it to all the STANDALONE GAMES and just accept it as a STANDALONE MOVIE, was actually pretty good o_o; Just not really well received...
But with Zelda I wouldn't let people down as far as the staples went. I wouldn't dare make it technologically advanced like Spirits Within was in comparison to the FF games. That was their biggest turn off for people.
...plus its not Zelda if the technology isn't dated by several centuries in comparison to our own XDD

Except 5 of those 7 movies are actually awesome. O_o Mario Bros and Silent Hill are two of my favorite movies ever. Resident Evil was pretty sick, too. o.o I mean.... beefy Lickers = win.
Tomb Raider seemed appropriately actiony, and Spirits Within was good as a movie.
Game fans really need to learn how to be more flexible. ._.; Of course you're not gonna fit a typically 40 hour game into a 2 hour movie. AND these movies need to market to the general populace, not just game players. Have realistic expectations.
The other two I can't vouch for; I've never seen Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat.

Well...Actually, I was only joking about a few of them. Mario Bros. the movie, I love, cause I've watched it since I was a kid. The first movie of Mortal Kombat was pretty awesome, although the second one kinda...yeah...Not so good. Silent Hill and Resident Evil, they're okay. I mean, movie-wise. And the Spirits Within...meh...it just pissed me off. Although any soundtrack with L'arc-en-Ciel is worth buying. And the others...wow yeah I won't get started ranting again =P

The first Street Fighter movie was awesome (there's a big-budget SF movie coming out soon). ZANGEIF VS HONDA: GODZILLA STYLE! GO!

Yeah maybe it wasn't really funny...I just like to laugh at my own stupidity sometimes....Not to mention Zelda is one of my obsessions....and my obsessions often infiltrate my miiiiiiind XD
