I was chatting with a friend and she told me about this guy who had his nose amputated. So naturally I had to read about it because, really, why would you ever even think about cutting your nose off for no medical reason? So I read about him and he apparently liked bert and ernies nose stealing routine too much. Now he just kind of looks like Voldemort with out the nostrils. And when he has a cold he just hacks it up instead of blowing his nose. Pretty... cool sauce.
Anywhos, have you heard of anything crazy like this. And no, I don't want to hear about the pain olympics.

I once heard of this odd woman who didn't just have breast-reduction surgery. She had the twins fully removed AND went back to get her nipples removed too.
I read the article on it and it turned out that she did it because she didn't like the way they felt on her chest when she tried to sleep.

Maybe he didn't like his nose since he has all the sinuses?
I remember that Queen Latifah had breast reduction because it was hurting her back and were too heavy for her. But nowadays its mostly about comfort, movement, and function in our active, modern world and excellent strives int the miracle of modern medicine.
I remember my aunt telling us (her kids, her niece-my younger sister-, and my youngest aunt and myself) that she had her hysterectomy done. Which removed her uterus, her ovaries, etc. She had difficulty with her menopause, her hot flashes, and her allergies to deal with from the beginning, and decided to have that done, she's tired of suffering from her female issues (sorry if it was sexist, but that's what she said!) And now she feels much better than she did after her second child.
