I know there's another thread for this somewhere, but I'm, at best, too lazy to find it. Post your quotes here, and I'll put them up here on the first post. I'll even get the party started.

Xander Tarbert:

Xander Tarbert
I was raised to be charming, not sincere.

Inara: I like watching the game. As with other situations, the key seems to be giving Jayne a heavy stick and standing back.

Samuel Clemens: I have found solace in profanity unexcelled even by prayer.

Sam: My Grandfather is an engineer to which the laws of physics no longer apply. You do not ******** with a man like that.

Justin: You and Kris always reminded me of Sam and Max. Kris would come to school and say the normal "hi, how're you doing," stuff. You'd come in and say something like "It's raining PUDDINING!"

House: Arrogance has to be earned. Tell me what you've done to earn yours.

All I want is a warm bed, a kind word, and unlimited power.

Plaid Ninja: You spell honor like a Brit!

And on the seventh day, God made zombies. Thank God that on the eighth day, God made Bruce Campbell.

Sam: Die the way you were born. Screaming and covered in someone else's blood.

If given any power tool and/or piece of gardening equipment, Bruce could find at least 7 ways to kill you with it. This does not include chainsaws. There is only one way for him to kill you with a chainsaw and that is brutally awesome.

Animal Mother: If I'm gonna get my balls blown off for a word, my word is poontang.

House: "After that look, I'm feeling a little frisky and looks like you're up."
Cuddy: "I'm ovulating. Let's go."
House: "The frisky, it went away."

Dr. Cameron: What are you gonna do?
Dr. House: I thought I'd get your theories, mock them, then embrace my own. The usual.

Lewis Black: Lactose intolerant milk? Kiss my d**k! If you're lactose intolerant you can't drink milk. So what's in the ******** carton? Get it out of there, get it away from my milk. It is talking to my milk and making it feel bad about itself.

Samuel Clemens: There is nothing lower than the human race except the French.

Lewis Black: And then there's the Homeland Security system, they had it colour-coded, like we're in ******** elementery school! Simplify it, there should be just three levels of security; Jesus Christ, Goddammit, ******** ME!

Samuel Clemens: Censorship is telling a man he can't have a steak just because a baby can't chew it.

Robert A. Heinlein: Early rising may not be a vice … but it is certainly no virtue. The old saw about the early bird just goes to show that the worm should have stayed in bed.

Lewis Black: Whenever someone says they believe the earth was created in 7 days, I grab a fossil and say, "Fossil." And if they keep talking, I throw it just over their heads.

There's nothing to heavy to be knocked on it's a** and everything's cool, baby.

Locked in a room with you, two tigers, and a gun with two bullets, I'd shoot you twice.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

Anyone who cannot cope with mathematics is not fully human. At best he is a tolerable subhuman who has learned to wear shoes, bathe, and not make messes in the house.

Otaku Slayer Thomas

"Its our fault that we let our King spread his genocidal wings"

"Justice is not the presence of peace but the absence of conflict"

Rapunzel's Prince: "Dwarfs are very upsetting."

Wesley: "Death cannot stop true love. It can only delay it for a while."

William Blake: "When the stars threw down their spears/Watered heaven with their tears/Did he smile his works to see?/Did he who made the lamb make thee?" - Excerpt from the poem "Tyger, Tyger"

"When stars go out each night, remind us where you are." - Line from "The Prayer"

Edmund Burke: "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."

William Wordsworth: "Come forth into the light of things, let nature be your teacher."

William Wordsworth: "In modern business it is not the crook who is to be feared most, it is the honest man who doesn't know what he is doing."

V: Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
