everyone that watches that says that i look some what like him...

Death Note's story is about a prodigy named Light, who happens to come across a notebook, that is owned by a Shinigami (death god) named Ryuk. This notebook, has a mysterious power. Thus Light who has become disgusted of the world, decides to change it for the better. He starts a campaign to rid the world of crime. But what sacrifices will Light give to obtain his new world?

You know, I didn't watch the Anime, I watched the movies. xD It was one of my favorite series. I just watched the 3rd movie.

I used to think that Death Note would suck. Then one night I watched an episode on Adult Swim... I have loved it ever since. It was really good, but then (NOTE!!!! The following might be a MASSIVE SPOILER for those who have NOT read the entire manga or watched the entire anime) Near came along with all his L wannabe-ness. And then Matt and Mello died as well.

The horrible thing about Death Note here in my home town is just how overrated it became. There were two types of fans: the fans that liked the series for what it was and stuck with it until the end, and the 'fans' who only got into it because they thought L was cool and stopped reading it when he died. Those 'fans' were also the people who though those who read manga and watched anime were nerds and losers.
Then it became Hot Topic's main marketing franchise. The section of the store for the anime and manga merchandise used to be a pretty fair balance of Inuyasha, Bleach, and Naruto. Then it became Naruto and more Death Note than I could handle, with one Bleach DVD and sticker and one Inuyasha action figure or two. It just got way out of hand where I live.

The only problem I have with deathnote is the stupidity some of the characters seem to have, I wont spoil it for those who haven't seen it by giving examples but I will just say that Light wasn't as smart as he seemed.......
I actually have a friend who looks and acts kinda like L, except he has light brown hair.

I like L because it's L and yeah...
Hahah and I thought L would have been really fat because of all the the sweets and sugar he eat. I wish I had a metabolism like him!

Lol, I love how L types!! It's so awesome! I can't do that... How does he type like that, and make everything so perfect? I wish I could type like L! xP Poor L... He freaking had to write his name in the Death Note! (Movie) Lol, the kid was hilarious in the beginning. Hahahahahaha! xD

im currently on chapter 40 cuz im a mega slow reader and i started yesterday DX
so dont ruin anything for me :B
one thing i love about L:
the way her holds his cellphone... like he doesn't wanna touch it
one thing i HATE about L:
posture. srly. i wanna jump into my computer and randomly pull out a ruler and be all like "STAND UP STRAIGHT OR I'LL BEAT CHU WITH MAH RULA!!!" cuz it bugz mehhhhhhh!!!!
