Hello. I'm new to the dollfie hobby and I had a question about the doll head. I am going to face-up my very first doll, but I do not know how to remove the head. In the pictures I've seen, it looks like the head is tied onto the neck, but I'm afraid that by trying to remove the head, I'll undo the strings. From what I hear, restringing is a nightmare. I definately don't want a re-stringing crisis on hands on the first day my girl comes home.
Is removing the head easier than it seems? I'm currently waiting for a DOT E-an with my name on it. How do you remove a doll head?

Just pop off the headcap *it's held on by a magnet* and there will be an 's' hook *tied to the cord* that you just pull up on and slide the head off. You'll see it's super simple once you physically have your doll.

Oh, okay. So the 's' hook is not the thing holding up all the strings? It's the knot?
Edit: and, that knot isn't easy to undo, is it?
