It wasn't every day that Eirian wandered this far away from the teepee he shared with his 'herd'.. Something about today just seemed different, like something amazing was waiting for him just a little farther downt he path. He was a firm believer in fate, thus had no second thoughts about this little journey, or how foolish Octavia and Miri had thought it was when he had mentioned why he wouldn't be around the teepee today.
Oh well. When whatever it was that him so determined to travel revealed itself they'd apologize.
Now he just had to find it.

 Aurora's day had been off to a fairly dull start. There had been some rainstorms lately, and it had been causing some difficulty in avoiding the deep mud puddles as she walked along to no particular destination. Once or twice she had inadvertently brushed up against a bush, sending unexpected dewdrops flinging towards her. Ah, to be in the forest, now that spring is here...
But the sun was out now, and the sky was clear; a sign that perhaps the rest of the day would turn out much different, whether Aurora was aware of it or not.
