*Pushes open the door to enter the mall, having to lean on the door a bit because it was heavy, and enters it, looking around to see how busy it was... but it was around lunch time, so it was rather packed*
*Puts his hands in the pockets of his muggle jacket... he'd stopped home before coming here to drop off his things, change clothes, and get the hair clips his Dad had made for Adela and himself ages ago, that would hide his ears and tail from people who weren't magic*
*Comes to this mall all the time, since it was only a few streets down from the Leaky Cauldron, and it had basically everything you could want to buy in it, and also happened to have a large food court*
*Walks through the crowd and to the escalators, riding quietly up one to the second floor, then the third, where the food court was*
*Steps off with a lot of other people who were obviously stopping for a bite to eat before shopping more, or going home, and manages to maneuver around without running into anyone, and makes his way around, deciding what he wanted to eat for lunch today*
Hm..... fast food.... no.... Fazolis? Maybe..... Tacos? Pizza? Hm......
*Glances down the line at an Orange Julius, and decides to head down there first and get the drink that the place was named after*
*Weaves through the people, nobody really noticing him as he made his way over... there was a KFC right next to the Orange Julius, and he decided he'd stop off there for lunch today after getting his drink*
*Walks up to the attendant and reaches in his pocket for his wallet, drawing out a few pounds*
And Orange Julius please, Medium. *Sets the bills down on the counter and waits for the guy to get his drink*

*Had been at the mall all day, his friend and him usually coming down here as soon as the mall opened on boring days; but they were all gone now, off at their jobs or doing chores, whereas Josh didn't have anything at all to do today*
*Josh had went to Diagon Alley to get all his school supplies a week earlier, so he was all set with not much to do until school started except hang around; he was excited for his new year, but the novelty of it had faded somewhat, as he didn't have many actual friends at Hogwarts to look forward to being around*
*he just got around to the third floor, having already walked around the first and the second floors and checked out most the stores; only really having enough money to buy food for the day anyways, he made his way to the crowded foodcourt, glancing around at all the different places to eat*
I'm lucky to find an empty table at this rate... *gets in the shortest and closest line he could see, which was KFC; he hadn't eaten there for awhile, and he was hungry enough that most of the food here seemed appetizing*
*Glancing around as he waited, he actually let out an audible gasp upon spotting Godfrey, getting an odd stare from the old man that was in line in front of him... what the hell? Did that boy have... a tail? And fox ears?*
*The line moved while he was still staring, causing some lady to actual cut in front of him; he didn't mind so much though, because a fox boy seemed even more interesting than food right this moment... and he seemed to be heading to this line anyhow*

*Takes his drink with a grin and a thank you, not noticing he was being stared at, and sips at it quietly while thinking to himself about the encounter with Voldemort he had earlier, making his way over to the KFC and not really paying attention to much, at least until he tried to move down the line and saw a person just standing there unmoving... now a regular boy would probably just skirt around him and make his way a few feet down to where the lady was, but he was more polite than that, and no matter what the gap was, if there was someone ahead of him, he was going to wait*
*Keeps sipping at his orange shake while looking in the general direction of the floor, making a few happy noises of contentment, not noticing that the person he was standing behind was actually looking down at him, because he wasn't really paying all that much attention at the moment, since he wasn't in a real hurry*
.... oh my daaaarling Clementine.... you were gone and lost forever... oh my darling Clementine......
*Sings to himself quietly, taking his mouth off the straw, and then grins before going back to sip it, idly noting the person in front of him sure had been standing there for an awful long time*

Um... *Frowns a bit, taking his few steps forward so he was back in the line again, trying to just look ahead at how close he was to the register but can't handle it*
*Turns around so he's standing backwards in the line and looking right at Godfrey, scrunching up his nose* Umm... excuse me but... *Whispers, like it was some big secret, leaning towards Godfrey a bit*... um, did you know you have fox ears? And a tail?
*Backs off a bit, grinning stupidly, glancing over his shoulder and taking a few steps backwards so no one else would cut him for not moving, suddenly thinking that whatever was in that orange Julius cup looked like it would be really tasty*
*Knows he's not supposed to bring up magic to anyone Muggle so he tries to ask without really asking directly if it was magic or what* How'd you get them? I mean like...

Hm!?
*Manages not to choke on his drink, but then looks up at the person in front of him, seeing that it was a boy who looked a bit older than him.... with really weird hair*
...... huh? Oh yeah, duh. You're silly. *Takes a few steps forward since Josh had stepped back, and stands there with one hand on his hip, looking Josh up and down, before stopping at his hair and grinning, his ears twitching forward and his tail swishing back and forth slightly*
.... you go to Hogwarts? What year are you in? *Isn't paranoid about being overheard, because it's not like anyone would know he was talking about a magic school, and these days, if they talked about weird things, people would just think they were talking about a video game or something*
If you go, I bet I can guess what house you're in! *Will guess Hufflepuff randomly, because of all the yellow, but for all he knew, the guy could go to another school or heck, maybe he didn't even go to school at all and was one of those poor lost Muggleborns who'd been forgotten about or missed and hadn't gotten their letters*
Oh, and you're pretty much at the register. *Grins at this goofy guy with his goofy hair, wondering if he could make himself yet another friend today*

Oh, oh yeah. I go to Hogwarts... I'm only a fourth year though I was held back a little... *Seems to be thinking really hard, scratching at his chin* You know, I think I would remember you... I mean, not that many kids have tails and all but... I don't think I've seen you around.
*Seems to be still thinking, but manages to catch what you were saying* Oh yeah, think you can guess? Most people can guess for me, actually... but... oh! *Turns around quick, digging in his pocket for his wallet, managing to actually catch a few of the bills that were falling out*
*Glances up at the menu display really quick, seeing how much he had* I'll have popcorn chicken please, and some potato wedges. *Hands over the cash and moves over to wait for his food with the few other people who were in line before him, stuffing his wallet and the change back in his pocket*
*Figures he definitely wants to wait for Godfrey too, seeing as he hadn't ever met anyone magical outside of Hogwarts before and plus, Godfrey seemed really friendly*

*Grins at Josh, but decides to wait until they weren't standing around with a bunch of people looking at them before answering, since Josh had caused a bit of a ruckus earlier, and looks up at what he wants to order*
Hmmmm....... I'll have..... oh! That one, with the breast and leg, extra crispy, um.... *Decides to just get one of the meals, and since he figured they were going to sit together, he'd just give the guy the soda that came with it*
...... and I'd like mashed potatoes and macaroni with it, please. *Smiles up at the girl behind the register, and reaches in his pocket for his wallet, which was leather and didn't have anything sticking out of it*
*Reaches inside and pulls out the exact bills that were needed, because the wallet was cool like that, and unzips the part the coins were kept in, pulling out the exact amount without looking much*
Here you go, Miss! *Beams up at her, handing her the money, and then moves over closer to Josh, linking arms with him and grinning up at him, before looking back down and beaming at the cashier and the girl behind her and the few people he could see cooking things*
*Both of them get their food, nice and hot and most importantly, before the other two people who were also waiting for their food, about a minute later, but the other two people couldn't complain that much, since they got theirs shortly after*
Thanks again! *Unlinks his arm from Josh's and sets his Julius on his tray, and takes the empty cup from his tray and plops it on Josh's*
Here, have a soda on me! I've already got something to drink anyways. I'll wait for you.
*Moves to stand off to the side so Josh could get a soda from the dispenser, which was on the counter nearby*

*Glances down as Godfrey links arms with him, lifting a brow but deciding not to say anything, just figuring that Godfrey was really overly happy for some reason; that was, most people weren't this happy all the time*
*Takes his tray and is about to just try and find an empty table when Godfrey gives him the cup* Oh, thanks a lot, I completely forgot to get a drink and I woulda had to get back and line and everything... hehehe, thanks... urrr... wait, you haven't told me your name yet, right? *Has to talk sort of loud over the noise of everyone in the food court, moving over and pouring Sprite in his cup, basically yelling at Godfrey as now he was a few feet away* Because, well, anyways, I'm Josh.
*Gets the lid and a straw, stepping back to stand next to Godfrey and survey the court for a table* Oooh, quick, there's an empty two-seater right there! *Walks quickly over to it, being careful not to tip his tray as he dodges people, claiming the seat and setting his food down* Sweet.

*Had linked arms with Josh to look cute so they'd get their food faster, because he was old enough to know how to work his cuteness to his advantage... actually, he'd been old enough basically since he could talk, but still*
*Grins at Josh a little as he shouted his name and the like, dipping his head down to sip at his Julius, not saying anything, and just following behind him when he'd shouted about the table and went off*
.... hehehe.... you're silly. *Sits down across from Josh, a bit more calmly* My name's Godfrey. Godfrey Potter-Lockhart. *Offers out his hand*
And let's see.... I was held back too. In fact, this year will be my first year going to Hogwarts, but I'm going to be in my fourth year, even though I'm going to be fifteen soon. My twin sister goes to Hogwarts, she looks like me, and she'll be a fifth year Slytherin this year. The reason she went to Hogwarts and I didn't, was because I couldn't find any wands that'd work for me. She found one at Ollivanders, but I just got mine two weeks ago, from China, and I just got my letter this morning! In fact, I just went school shopping and I came here to have lunch and do some more shopping.
And you look like you're a Hufflepuff.
*Grins at Josh*
... and were you born with that hair, or what? *Looks up at it, as curious about Josh's hair as Josh was about his ears and tail, probably*
*Looks down at his food, and doesn't bother to unwrap the plastic fork, and instead grabs his chicken leg with his left hand and starts mowing down on it, still holding out his right hand for Josh*

I... I don't mean to be silly... *seems a bit perplexed by this, but shrugs it off, extending his hand to shakes Godfrey's* Nice to meet you, Godfrey. Potter... isn't that, like, as in Harry Potter? *Nods a bit, feeling confident that his memory was actual good on this one*
Hey, so we'll be in the same year? That's awesome, we'll probably have classes together and everything... actually, I don't even remember what books I already bought. But we gotta have at least one class together, I'd expect. And yeah, I'm a Hufflepuff... Hey, maybe you'll be a Hufflepuff, too! You seem like it... or maybe a Ravenclaw. Hm... *trails off, opening his little box of potato wedges, chowing down, eating two or three at a time, stopping to take a long sip of his drink* I wish I didn't love fast food so much... but it's so tasty...
*Smiles across the table at Godfrey* But a wand wouldn't work for you, huh? That's... odd? Sometimes I feel like mine doesn't work either, but a lot of times I'm just doing spells not exactly right, I guess. Who knows, maybe I have a stubborn wand.
8Grins big, running a hand over his mohawk so it was flattened, and then letting it go so it would spring back up* Naw, it's some special hair-hold goop I got in Diagon. Lasts like, months while I only have to style it once. Pretty cool, if you ask me. I always hate spending time doing my hair and s**t like that... *Pops a few pieces of chicken in his mouth, thinking*

You don't have to mean to be, you just are. *Grins at Josh, letting go of his hand, and unwraps his fork, tipping his macaroni out onto his mashed potatoes and gravy and stirring it all around so it was a brownish, macaroni'd mess on one half, normalish mashed potatoes on the other half, and half the macaroni still macaraoni*
*Talks after taking a bit of the mixed up stuff*
My Dad's the one who plays for the Tornadoes. So yeah, the Harry Potter.... or one of them........but eh. And we will be in the same year! *Grins* That's pretty cool. And I wouldn't mind being in Hufflepuff, yellow looks good on me.
*Grins some more, pausing to finish scraping the chicken leg down to the bone, and take a bite of his mashed potatoes*
Well I wrote what classes I was going to take on the letter I was sent, and the book list appeared. I'm taking.... well all the base classes, plus Ancient Runes, um... Arithmancy...... and um... I think that was it. Maybe I took another extracurricular, I don't really remember... I was running about really fast this morning...
Oh! And I know what you mean, Josh! I am addicted to KFC. I love fried chicken. I'd eat it every day if I could. I usually get it when I go out to eat, unless I feel like Chinese....
I don't really go to McDonald's or Burger King all that much... sometimes for the fries.
... and anyways, it is kind of odd, but not. See.... my sister and I were born differently. You know how you had accidents as a kid and did stuff? Well Adela and I did it all the time, and it was always the same thing usually.... Adela'd get things wet when she was in a mood, and I'd set stuff on fire.....
Anyways... it was much easier for Adela to find a wand, but me, I just kept on burning them up........ so we had to do some research, and then it took a few years to get the wood... it's from a Phoenix Ash tree.... those're protected.
*Grins at Josh, sitting up in his seat almost excitedly*
Mine doesn't work for me all that well too! I'm always making stuff explode! It's kinda cool if it didn't get me into trouble...... *Pauses, thinking about how he'd gotten into trouble this morning, and then grins widely, thinking that it was worth it* ... then again, getting into trouble can be fun, yeah?
*Prods at his chicken breast, staring up at Josh as he messed with his hair*
Oh! I think I might have seen that shop... I dunno, there's so many shops within shops within shops there.... you can never really know what you'll find. *Grins* Though I've been in every store that's there lately..... looking for a present and stuff.
In fact, that's actually why I came here! See, I'm going to have a little brother or sister soon, so I wanted to stop by some baby stores and see if I could pick some stuff up. I don't really like the wonky stuff they've got in that shop in Diagon. I want something that won't move. Besides, our house is pretty much a mix of everything, so some things from here will fit in fine. The stores here usually have cooler stuff too. Like cute little clothes....
And then I thought I'd just walk around and see what was going on around here. I haven't been to the mall for at least a month...... if not more than that. I've been really busy this summer.
So anyways, do you want to go with me? You seem like you were kind of bored before I came along.
*Grins at Josh, finally done talking, and sticks a big piece of chicken in his mouth, chewing without grinning thankfully, and takes another sip of his drink*
Hey you want my biscuit? I got honey with it! It's really good, you should try it. Plus I don't think I'll be able to finish it.
*Pushes his tray over a bit, so Josh could grab his biscuit and honey if he wanted it... oh yeah, he was feeding him, and didn't think a bit of popcorn chicken and the like was enough for a guy as big as this*
You ever had an Orange Julius? Wanna try it? *Thought he saw Josh eying it earlier, and offers it out*

*Sits there, eating his food and listening to Godfrey, finishing his potato wedges pretty fast because he hadn't really eaten anything for breakfast that morning, but otherwise taking his time eating the chicken, trying to concentrate on listening and absorbing everything Godfrey was saying*
Exploding things...? Heh, remind me not to practice spells next to you in class then. *Pops another piece of chicken in his mouth, chewing thoughtfully* I don't have any siblings... I think it'd be cool to, though. I dunno what I'd think if my parents decided to have another kid... it'd be sort of lame since I'm sorta old already, maybe... kinda...weeeird to think about.
*Shivers a bit, pushing any sibling thoughts out of his mind* I go to the mall here all the time. I only live like, an hours walk from here. I know there's lots more stuff to do around here but s'like... I like coming here. Seeing all the people, I guess.
But I'd love to go with you. My friends basically ditched me to go do other stuff today, and none of what they were doing sounded cool so...well, it's a good thing I stayed, or else I wouldn't have seen you.
*Grins big, wordlessly swiping the bun and eating it, all his food pretty much gone by now, taking another long sip of Sprite* I've had it before... I think I'm all set for now, the Sprite is good enough. Ready to go?

*Has finished all of his food as well, and pretty much took in the way Josh had mowed down the food...... yeah, he was going to get more food into this guy somehow, maybe treat him to ice cream later or something, even though he'd just drank an orange shake*
Haha yeah... well actually, the closer you'd be to me, the better......... I've blown at least three holes in the roof at home, and blew out a part of my bedroom when I tried to use 'Lumos' for the first time..... oh and this morning I blew out one of the bathroom doors.... broke off the sink.. water flying everywhere..... Dad got soot all over him somehow, but I was perfectly fine!
*Grins, standing up with the tray so he could toss out the trash*
... and well actually, my Papa's been living in St. Mungo's permanent ward since Adela and I were ten. Daddy's having a baby with his boyfriend of a few years, Mr. Lovegood. Well technically... Mr. Lovegood is having the baby. But still.
I like coming to the mall too.... I'm usually alone most of the time except when my tutors pop by, or I've just got Dad, and Adela in the summers, but it's nice to see all the different people sometimes.......
*Beams at Josh as he says it was a good thing he stayed, blushing slightly*
Well it's a good thing I came here when I did, or I would have missed you too. Lucky coincidence, huh?
And yep! I'm ready. *Looks around for the nearest trash receptacle, and heads off to it after tossing another grin to Josh, still blushing a little... he liked this crazy guy with his crazy hair, and he was cute*
((xD LOL. CAN'T HELP IT. >_> But Godfrey will end up with Voldemort SOON SOON. He's just like 'So it's cool to be friends with Voldemort and everything but he's Voldemort, he doesn't like people like that, right?' xD PLus, Josh is cute. >_>))
