A young filly stirred in the bushes. Her family dozed nearby, but it was very early and very few foals and their parents were out grazing. The sunlight warmed her back through breaks in the leaf cover and Teppy yawned, stretching each of her limbs carefully before bouncing off to the stream.
Once she got there, she took a deep drink from the chill water. The stream wasn't too far from her favourite apple tree; it's delicate pink blossoms already in full bloom. It was warmer than she was used to already, and the little filly wondered how hot it would be.
"i wonder if I'll burst into flames!" Teppy exclaimed suddenly, imagining the sun's rays coming down from the sky like fire. She giggled. What a rediculous thought.

The winged filly smiledas she snuck away from her too, snoozing family.Her father always hadavery watchful eye on her, though she didnt mind too much.. She was her daddy's girl by the way.
Her little body wriggled as she shoved herself through a good set of bushes, that were almost taller than she. Her white manecaught gently, and shepulled a little, to retrieve it from the clutches of thebush.
She grunted a bit, but no more than a look of focus passed her face. She was holding a smile, a nice, wholesome smile that neverleft the filly's face most times.
She was a soft little thing.. Strong willed like her daddy, and soft hearted like her mother.
Dove was indeed the smiles of the family, even though she was around her father more often then not.

Teppy heard a rustle in the bushes and she flicked her ears in the direction of the sound. She wasn't afraid of movement in the trees because the area had always been safe for her, so now, her curiosity piqued, she quietly stepped away to investigate.
"Is somebody there?" she said softly, wondering if there were others about that early morning already. Teppy usually avoided strange adults, but if it was a foal she would love the company. And if it was just a squirrel... well, sneaking up on it would be fun. Her ears stood high, listening for the sound again.

Dove perked her ears as she heard the filly's voice.
Why of course someone washere.. She was..But she shook her head, and poked it out of one of the closest bushes she could reach, and ended up bumping her nose right into the leg of the white filly.
Shaking her head a bit stunned, Dove smiled sheepishly.
"I'm sorry!"
Her soft brown eyes gleamed as she glanced over the filly.
She was white, and had very interesting flecks of red and teal. Her mane reminded Dove of fresh apples, and her belly rumbled slightly.
"My name is Dove! Whats yours?"

Teppy jumped a little at the poking sensation but recovered quickly. She blinked at Dove and met her soft gaze with her wide, questioning cyan one. Dove was a mix of natural colours, from the black 'mask' on her face and the soft marking down her back. What caught her attention most, however, were the wings at her sides.
Realizing that she was staring, Teppy shook her head. "It's fine! I'm Teppy, nice to meet you," she quickly said, giving her preferred nickname rather than her given name. The something about Dove struck her, and Teppy couldn't help but tilt her head to one side. "You remind me of someone."

Ooh she loved meeting new Soquili, and her little white chocolate tipped tail almost wagged with excitement.
"Hello Teppy!"
She said, smiling.
Her wings stayed obediantly to her sides.She hadn't learned to use them yet, but mother was teaching her little by little.
Her brothers liked to poke fun at her about her wings, but she would just smile,and call Blitz a cookie, and Cain a creme-puff.
Though..She meant it only in jest as did they.
"I do?"
Her little eyebrows rose.
"Who?"

Dove's enthusiasm was a touch contagious, and a wide grin spread across her face. She was still eying Dove, and in her mind she was comparing her to a colt she had met when she was fresh out of her basket. She could envision his coat, the white dotted with stars. "Like... my friend Blitz!" she exclaimed.
Her eyes dancing, Teppy's grin turned into a mischievous, closed-lipped smile. "So what are you doing out here, Dove? Want to do something?"

The filly instantly put two and two together,and she started giggling a bit.
"Blitz? Blitzy is my brother!..That is..If he looks like a frosted Cookie!"
She smiled.
Her ears flicked,and she gave thought to what she was doing out right now.
She had noidea. She hadnt any true goal to achieve tonight, and she cockedh er head.
"I was really not doing anything."

Blitzy the cookie? Teppy laughed. Next time she ran into him, she would be sure to bring that up. "Your brother? You two look like siblings, definitely."
Then Teppy flicked her tail and stood up straighter. "Why don't I should you my apple tree? There's no apples there, yet, but it'll give us something to do." Teppy loved trees and the particular apple tree was one of her favourites. But getting there from where they stood involved crossing a large, open space. The agoraphobic Teppy was terrified to go alone. "If, that's alright, I mean."

She smiled. So Blitz had met Teppy too? She wondered if Cain had..But she felt sure Teppy would have mentioned something if she had met Cain too.
"He is my brother, yup!"
She ssaid proudly.
Micah and Gal had been lucky, being blessed with three foals who loved each other. Micah had been unlucky in that aspect.
"Apple tree? Sure! Is it far? I like to walk."
She said, her ears flicking.

"Good, because it's a little bit of a walk," Teppy said, smiling. Then she turned and looked to the east, towards the dreaded clearing. "It's across there, and through the woods." The filly suppressed a shudder. Her fear of open spaces was embarrassing. Perhaps she could keep it under control when she had Dove with her.
With that, Teppy took her first steps forward. She bobbed happily with each step. "I have siblings too... My sister Tsunami and I worry my daddy. I don't know why. I think he's just a big worrywart!"

"I like walking!" She said with a smile.
"You have siblings? Oh a sister? I want a sister. I hope to get one someday."
She followed the filly and sort of bobbed with her.
"We're on our WAY!"
She announced, as if calling to the Apple tree.
"My daddy is a worry-wart too..He's incredibly embarrassing..And he's harder on me than my brothers I think..Though they'd argue."
She grinned.

"Yep, there's my sister and my brother," Teppy said, keeping up the pace. "Maybe you'll have a sister someday? I don't really know my brother much." There were some roots, and Teppy took extra care to step over them. "My daddy doesn't like our games just because he's so worried." She pouted jokingly before her smile returned. Then she laughed. "I think daddies worry more about their daughters than their sons."
The trees were thinning out, and Teppy hesitated. "Uhh... on our way?" Peering through the trees, Teppy could see the empty blue and green of the clearing.

She smiled, flicking her tail as she turned to head off.
"I have two big brothers..And I dont know Cain that well either.. But me and Blitz are best buddies!"
She said smiling and wriggling her little body.

"Cain? I think I've met him too..." she said, studying the gaps in the trees with increasing unease. "Maybe I'll meet your mom and dad someday!" Teppy gave a little nervous laugh, then swallowed nervously. Lead the way?
She skirted around a bush before coming to a dead stop. There it was, the clearing as tree and bushless as ever. She could see the stream trailing through the grass, marking the path to her tree.
The filly took one big step out into the long grass. Then another, and another, until she was walking along at a somewhat normal pace. "This isn't so bad..." As long I don't think about the huge empty sky, or the nothingness... Suddenly she stopped again with a little squeak. Teppy began to shake and closed her eyes, trying to get a hold of herself.
